CoastersRZ
According to John Kiesewetter of the Cincinnati Enquirer, John Manby, the CEO of Herschend Family Entertainment, will be on an upcoming show of the CBS show "Undercover Boss." Locally, Herschend Family Entertainment owns Newport Aquarium, and also operates the Ride the Ducks that depart from Newport on the Levee. HFE also owns Dollywood, and Branson`s Silver Dollar City. Diamondback96
They should have chosen Mr. Kinzel! In Sandusky, not the Carolinas...
The Interpreter
I think Mr. Kinzel has other concerns right now. Besides, he's an operations guy, not a finance guy...
CedarPointer
I'd love to see Kinzel do that! He'd have to go to CGA or KBF... he'd never be able to get away with it at CP or KI!
Diamondback FOF
I don't think KBF would work too well, either.
The Interpreter
Don't kid yourself. The man gets around. Besides, if they want him as the CEO, perhaps they'd best hurry...time's a wastin'.

CoastersRZ
I was going to bump this thread, but it looks like I was beat by more than twelve hours! I actually saw a preview for this on TV tonight. It is some what odd, that Joel Manby did not climb the ranks of the corporate amusement park ladder, and has never worked the front lines. AFAIK, Mark Shapiro didn't either... He came from ESPN, at least according to this article.
ahank
I'll be watching this tonight. That's for sure.
Jasper
I actually just turned on the show a couple of minutes ago and I am kicking myself for missing the show.

JAHill
If anyone missed it, it's available for view on CBS via Hulu: http://www.hulu.com/...boss%2Fvideo%2F
CincyMan98
That was a great episode, like all the others. Very emotional. It's surprising to see how hard they work for an amusement park. Honestly, I didn't know it was so hard to run.
