CoastersRZ
A local developer is opening up a 55,000 square foot entertainment facility which will feature an indoor go kart track and lazer tag. The new facility is located in thr former Liberty Township Kroger building. The facility will also be the first location that sells Cincinnati`s Aglamesis Bros.’ ice cream outside of their parlors. Thrill_Biscuit
I've driven by the Web a few times now. It looks impressive!
Justin_M17
Haha, awesome! Go-Karts and Lazer Tag are two of my favorite things to go out and do! Juvenile? Maybe. Fun? Definitely!
KI Kevin
And the best part? It's two minutes from my house! Yay!

Some day you won't even care if others think you are juvenile! Terpy, infamous for, among other things, loving "It's A Small World" and for playing like a three year old in the spouting water jets at Holiday World's kiddieland...then there was riding what was once Top Cat's Taxi Jam in the front seat with Lucy White at a time when adults unaccompanied by a child were simply not allowed on the ride...Terpy was the child! IBEW_Sparky
Hey Justin, I will be 36 in 5 days and I LOVE riding go karts. Granted, the ones I really enjoy go a TON faster (sprint karts at New Castle Raceway), but I would certainly be down for some indoor karting with a few fellow enthusiasts/racers who can get down on 4 wheels. Justin_M17
Good to know I'm not the only one I can definitely see a future KIC get-together at this place. If we can make waiting in line for hours seem fun then I can't wait to see what we can do with lazer tag, go karts, bowling, and mini-golf all in one place
IBEW_Sparky
A nice little karting/laser tag outing sounds pretty good Justin. I used to work for a venue called Laser X when I lived in Des Moines, and we used to have some REALLY intense matches after hours... Im talkin music so loud the bass is shaking the walls and every obstacle in the arena and fog so thick your vision is about 5 feet (think Haunt right by the Funnel Cake stand across from Eiffel Tower). Those packs and guns they are using at Web look great... should be a good time.

IBEW_Sparky
You would Love New Castle Raceway and also Whiteland raceway, too bad you are not closer to the Indy area. Both places tend to cater to the serious racer, with the sprint carts at New Castle going over 50mph, and the "somewhat" more family oriented Whiteland carts running just about 40. Ive had some really good times at both places, and am always flying the Smoke flag in one manner or another, be it hat, jacket, or t shirt! OK, we have three, and I KNOW there are at least 6 others I have in mind who would be down for a trip to the Web.
Beast79
This would be a nice place to go next off season!

Justin_M17
Haha, yeah I'm definitely up for doing this as soon as we can get a big enough group of people together. I haven't played Lazer Tag since it first came out when I was a kid, and that was just in a wide open backyard in broad daylight. I've never been to a place like we're talking about here. I'll probably be absolutely terrible at it but it should still be fun And I could probably get some friends together who'd want to play as well. The only catch is this: My driver's license is suspended until April 22nd, so I wouldn't be able to make it until then. And then only on a weekend since my dad uses our car to go to school from 3pm - 11pm Monday - Friday.
IBEW_Sparky
Hmmm, May 1 is Holiday Worlds Opening Day, the next weekend is Mothers Day weekend... I say we start getting something set up for like Saturday May15th... then leave there in the late evening and catch a couple of hours at KI getting some night rides in. OH, and one more thing Justin. DONT try to play in your Rocky gear, the skirt would mess with your range of motion and the wig would get in your eyes and mess your vision up

Pretty sure I played Lazer Tag (Photon) before you were born, so the the whole "first came out" thing is slightly off. OH, and one more thing Justin. DONT try to play in your Rocky gear, the skirt would mess with your range of motion and the wig would get in your eyes and mess your vision up 5 minutes later, I'm still laughing at this comment. Justin_M17
Well... For some reason I can't quote on my Blackberry, so... KIfan1980: Thanks for correcting me there... I honestly thought it had just came out by then Learn something new every day I guess. Sparky: Now that I've finished cleaning up the mountain dew that I was in the process of drinking I would like to let you know that I wasn't considering wearing my RHPS outfit. Although I am seriously thinking about it now... Imagining the look on the faces of the parents who brought their children for a day of family fun when they see me... Justin_M17
Well Rach, I have to admit, glam rock lazer tag does sound like a pretty good idea. But if you'll think back to when we did it at KI the only people who actually bothered to dress up (Out of the 20 something people that were there?) Are you, me, and Cass. I doubt we'd get a much better turnout this time >.<

Justin_M17
Well, you've got me there. But I still think it would be better if we got a few more people with a proper lack of self-consciousness to dress up as all-out as we did... Still got my boa in your car? Justin_M17
I'm pretty sure mine was red. I think someone had me borrow their pink one so it'd match my wig. I could be wrong though. Although it's an extremely rare occurance it HAS happened before, believe it or not.
