Shaggy
I did some spring cleaning and decided to part ways with a really cool Kings Island item. It's the remote control Italian Job:Stunt Track car that I was sent as an invitation to the media day opening of the coaster. It was originally sent in a box that had the invitation printed on the side of it. US Mail ruined the box by the time it arrived at my place the week prior to the media event. I had no choice but to remove it, toss the invite box and keep the car. I put it on Ebay if someone is interested. It's been collecting dust on a shelf for years. It's a fun item, and I loved having it, but I am downsizing. Ebay seemed the fairest way to offer it to those that would cherish it as a part of their personal KI collection rather than just use it as a "toy." http://cgi.ebay.com/...=STRK:MESELX:IT
XGatorHead 8904
WOOHOO!!! I won! Thanks for posting this, Shaggy. I promise I'll take good care of it!
IslandAddict
^ Good job! I remember one of my first trips to Kings Island. I wouldn't even go in the line for Italian Job. My brother went alone while his girlfriend, my dad, and, of course, me, sat outside the ride. Good memories... kind of.
standbyme
WOOHOO!!! I won! Congrats on your win...now you can console me on my loss!
XGatorHead 8904
^Oh, were you the other bidder? Sorry! I hate when people outbid me at the last minute, I've had that happen to me quite a bit. But then I learned to get on EBay at auction's end, and that's what I did this time. Bid with 4 minutes left, and kept hitting refresh to make sure I was still the top bidder! standbyme
Oh believe me, I am a sniper bidder 99% of the time...the auction just ended at a bad time for me...so I just put in the max that it was worth to me and hoped for the best. I have no hard feelings...obviously you wanted it more than I did.
The Interpreter
Just as Mr. Kinzel wanted Paramount Parks more than the other bidders did! Hopefully, this will end much more happily than that FUN and ONLY experience seems to be destined to.... 040810
CoastersRZ
Yeah. I personally have never used ebay before. Sometimes you can get real bargains on things, other times you can end up spending a lot more for something than what you originally intended to spend. The Italian Job car is on it's way to you... oh, and it has it's original instructions, powerpack/battery charger too :-) I am VERY glad it's going to a good home :-) Shaggy
IBEW_Sparky
It actually just tripled in value!! Its the only Mini Cooper associated with Paramount, Kings Island, or CF that still has its stickers! EDIT: It is really cool, I would have at least tried for it had I not known Id be travelling during the weekend, I just knew I wouldnt be able to track the auction as closely as I wanted to. Nice buy Gator
