What is going on with White Water Canyon? It has been closed every time I have went to the park this year. Did they do away with it? -adam12

pki won't be doing away with WWC for a long time...i went on it the first day of summer vacation with my friends, but the last time i went (several weeks ago) it was closed and drained.

Same here, every time I went this year and last (i think) it was closed down. *shrug*

I've ridden it about 10 times this summer. Each time was a different visit. Hmmmmm.......odd.

Well, WWC takes a ton of people to operate. That's the big reason... depending on when you were in the park, the ride would have been shut down because we didn't have people working it.

Another thing would be that I very rarely saw WWC opened before noon on any day. If you were just in the park in the mornings, then you would have missed it.

I'm not sure about any other reason why it would have been closed. Somewhere on these forums, at least before the cleaning, we had already discussed this same topic. Maybe you will be able to find more if you dig through the what's left, but after my brief scan it didn't look like it was here.

As a last note... WWC will not be leaving the park or be taken out.

last time i was there, from the train, WWC looked like it was being dismantled. the station was in a mess

last time i was there witch was the 21st of september for cinergy day

and wwc was opend well at least i think it was cause there was no garbagecan iin the front of the line where it usualy has when its closed

That could mean anything. It's a water ride, so it's hard to tell how they preserve the under water mechanics during the winter.
