Gturner94 Posted May 31, 2010 Posted May 31, 2010 So I went to the park this year on a rainy Friday. Cant remember the date sorry. It was a normal day untill i went over to the Three Point Shootout. There was a man there who was amazing. He played atleast 20 times while I was there and about half of those timeshe made 14/15. It went from normal to an amazing time. Quote
IslandAddict Posted May 31, 2010 Posted May 31, 2010 Cool story, bro. Sorry, but there isn't much to say here... Quote
Gturner94 Posted May 31, 2010 Author Posted May 31, 2010 yeah i knew there couldnt be too much of a response but I almost got to see one of the few 15/15 on Three Point Shootout. Quote
Colonel_SoB_fan Posted May 31, 2010 Posted May 31, 2010 Was his last name Dowdell? That family, it seems, dominates that game. Quote
Gturner94 Posted May 31, 2010 Author Posted May 31, 2010 yeah i know they do but i didnt know if it was one of them Quote
KIfan1980 Posted May 31, 2010 Posted May 31, 2010 Since I've never stopped to watch the 3-pt shootout game, can someone confirm/fill in the details? - It looks like 3 shooting stations - I'm guessing based upon the 14/15 that there are 5 balls per station - I know there is a clock, what is the time limit? - Is there a bigger prize for getting a 15/15? There is a forty second time limit for them to shoot I think it's three normal balls and "the money ball" which is worth two. If you make all 15 I believe the prize is a Sony Playstation 3. Quote
muppetfan1999 Posted May 31, 2010 Posted May 31, 2010 Where is the game and how much does it cost? Quote
KIMonster14 Posted May 31, 2010 Posted May 31, 2010 Where is the game and how much does it cost? Across from Vortex and next to BSC, $5.00 Quote
flightoffear1996 Posted May 31, 2010 Posted May 31, 2010 Yea I saw this like on my 2nd trip of the season. Quote
The Interpreter Posted May 31, 2010 Posted May 31, 2010 Where is the game and how much does it cost? Across from Vortex and next to BSC, $5.00 Doesn't the price vary with demand, like most of the other pay attractions? Quote
Purplehaze Posted May 31, 2010 Posted May 31, 2010 I do not play games usually. But one of these days I will try that one. Seems like I can shoot hoops in Rivertown and always win but the other shooting games in the park I can not hit a lick. I even hit the 3 pointers. However under a time clock I would falter miserably. And I thought that last year, at least, the price was frequently more on busier days...or later in the day. Quote
chaddie Posted June 2, 2010 Posted June 2, 2010 I'm with Terpy. I am pretty sure it's variable, whether in time or money. Quote

Thanks for clearing stuff up Terpy Quote
