rsipus13
dont you think that they could fix the webcams because the i street webcam is not showing and The Racer cam is stuck on the same picture
kiruler102
That would cost too many Kinzel Nickels to fix them.
CincyMan98
Why can't they just use a regular webcam you'd find on a computer? That way it would be actual moving pictures, not just still pictures. It would only cost $200 for I-Street, Racer, and Diamondback.
HTCO
I'm almost positive they wouldn't pick up squat. Personal Webcams are really only ment to capture video from around 2-15 feet away.
KI FANATIC 37
Yeah you couldn't see anything from those
pbkigi
I never got to see the I-Street webcam during an operating day I was kind of mad about that.
CincyMan98
It may have been asked during a 5@5, but what is wrong with the I-Street cam?
selective
I'm still waiting to see it work also. Though I don't like the locations they chose for the other two cams. Racer and Dimondback? The views don't really show the people in the park and the images take too long to change to see any real activity. My cam suggestions: 1. On the web site the images should rez at smaller sizes so they load quicker, because I have a high speed internet connection and I shouldn't have to wait for a large picture to slowly load on the page every time it refreshes. 2. Find better places to put the cameras (and they don't have to be so high up). Example: White Water Canyon where people are getting wet. International street sounds like the best place, but still waiting to see it work.
flightoffear1996
Why not streaming video. My guess is that it would cuase bandwidth issues.
Jeffy
I would enjoy the webcams better as well if they were relocated or just plain worked correctly. Cedar Point has had webcams up for at least 2 years and have done well with operating them through all kinds of terrible weather. One is on top Top Thrill Dragster and one is on the main midway. They also had one during the construction of the new water ride that has yet to open due to problems with the boats. Oh well... just a suggestion or rant, whichever you want to take it
rsipus13
there are some webcams that do show live pictures and not every few second pictures and they never had a problem...(that i saw) so they could do that but it would just be nice to have working webcams
Dbfan
How about a rotatating one? I think HW has one, put it on the Eiffel Tower.
rsipus13
but it would break and then harder to fix because of the height
HTCO
How about a rotatating one? I think HW has one, put it on the Eiffel Tower. What would happen if lightening struck the top of the tower... Good bye Webcam!

CincyMan98
Not for me. One day it worked, then it went out again. It's possibly the best view out of the whole park, and I have to miss out on it. I don't understand what's going on with it!!
Jeffy
It is working for me at the moment. Looks like a fair cloudy day at the Island!
