Diamondback96
They were having some technical problems with the fireworks that day. Fireworks are still scheduled for every day the park closes at 10 pm or later.

coastermike
Does anyone know if KI is planning anything extra for July 4th? Their park calendar shows just the regular Sunday hours of 10am-10pm. Mike B.

CincyMan98
On their website, the calendar for the fireworks shows that they're only on Friday and Saturday nights. Edit: Nevermind, it says "NIGHTLY AT 10PM" yet they show on the calendar that it's only on weekends. :/

Mike B. I went on the fourth either last year or the year before and they did fireworks for maybe 1 or 2 extra minutes.
Oldiesmann
As much as I love the "Nights of Fire" thing that we had during the Paramount era, Cedar Fair likely doesn't have the budget for such extravagant events... For those who aren't familiar or don't remember, here's a taste of what we got 5 years ago... <param name="movie" value=" name="allowFullScreen" value="true"><embed src=" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="480" height="385">It's a shame that the park isn't doing the 5@5 thing on Facebook anymore. This would be a great question to ask there.
