KK 2011/2012 New Coaster

Recommended Posts

Many people are starting to think that Ed Hart will bring Kentucky Kingdom in with a bang in 2011. Now some are thinking that since Chang is out, and is possibly not comming back, Ed is going to put a new coaster in the park next year in 2011, with the waterpark expansion, or add a coaster in 2012. Some people think this parks next coaster could be The Time Machine from FreeStyle Music Park.

According to this article, officals arent sure if Chang will go up in Six Flags Great America, but they arleady have aproval.

I think Ed Hart had best not be planning anything unless and until he actually gets his proposal to run the park approved. At most, there is a deal with the Fair Board to negotiate a possible deal. And it depends on a bond issue, large amounts of public financing and bonds...none of which are a certainty in this environment. By the way, bangs are what happen when fireworks are duds! :)

Seriously, this is far from a done deal...

It's too early to say what will happen to KK in the future.

Also, for future reference, if you post a link with a comma in it, you need to put "url" tags around it like this:

link goes here

Otherwise the link gets cut off and you have to quote the message to get the entire link...
