Is anyone signing up for this?

Im seriously considering the 10k. Will probably decide by mid-July. Have you already signed up?

Not sure yet. I would do the 10K as well... That 45 buck fee is really making me think twice.

I think I may actually try this. I havnt ran a 10k in almost 5 months, so it will be interesting trying to get back in shape, but I think I can do it by then.

I REALLY want to do this...but i dont know if i really want to pay $40 for it :( But I guess it'd be good to do before cross country starts...maybe...

Walking and taking pictures. Thats my way :)

I will be there~!

Anyone know if I can just walk and take pictures?

(Sorry double post)

Does anyone know if there will be signs telling which direction to run, or some kind of notification at all?

Thanks

Does anyone know? Yes.

Now that that's over...Of course there will be....otherwise the leader would run the wrong way at some point and everyone else would follow!

(and this would end up making national news, no doubt! It has happened before, but it is very, very rare)

One would hope that any problems from last year would be fixed this. Lessons learned, and all that sort of thing.

Setting the course of a race is pretty elementary stuff...

I would really like to do this! You would get great views of KI an would be a lot of fun!! I will prabably NOT do it but it sounds like a lot if fun. the $40 fee doesn't seem that bad to me. They have to make a profit.

First time poster, LONG time lurker.

This event will be a ton of fun! As a four time marathoner, a racer from last year (I think I finished 10th in the 10K), and a KI FANATIC, I've been working feverishly with the Race Director to make sure this event goes off without a hitch. The 5K this year has 6 times more in park running than last year. Similar to last year, 10K runners will have to battle The Beast hill (the guy next to me almost cried when he saw it).

You'll also have the benefit of enjoying the park that day and then having a ticket to come back another day (a two for one deal). Even if you are a season pass holder, you'll receive a ticket for a friend! And don’t forget the awesome technical KI running shirt. So if you’re an elite racer, noncompetitive runner, or even a walker, what are you waiting for! Sign up today!

Even if you’re not running, feel free to join in the festivities and cheer on the runners. Season pass holders will be allowed in for free!

One more day! Eat your pasta and drink your Gatorade. The Beast hill is looking for victims. Let's get ready to run!

I've climbed a 14,000 foot mountain and found The Beast hill to be tougher! I wasn't running up it though. Take your time and remember that The Beast hill isn't the last one on the course that you'll see. You'll have three more large ones after that.

I doubt anyone is going to break any world records on Sunday with the heat and the hills. The 5K is not nearly as tough. If you'd like to sign up Great Wolf Lodge still has registration tomorrow from 3:00 to 8:00. Also on race morning there will be registration near the front gate starting at 6:00 am. See you at the Finish Line.
