July 10, 201016 yr I am going to Cedar Point tomorrow and Monday. We're gonna stay in the Hotel Breakers and we were wondering if the Hotel Breakers served free breakfast or not. All answers are appreciated very much.
July 10, 201016 yr Nope! From the Cedar Point website: Hotels...Room rate per day (European Plan - meals not included)... http://www.cedarpoin...ts/policies.cfm Did you REALLY think they'd miss out on the chance to charge you for food? http://www.thefreedi...m/European+plan Free continental breakfast would be Continental Plan: http://www.thefreedi...ontinental+plan A free FULL breakfast would be the Bermuda Plan: http://www.thefreedi...om/Bermuda+plan And, of course, if ALL meals were included, that would be the seldom heard of these days American Plan: http://www.thefreedictionary.com/American+plan Terp, who suddenly feels very, very old
July 10, 201016 yr They SELL breakfast in the Breakers...at typical Cedar Fair prices. There is also a Perkins there (with, in my opinion, lousy service and lousier food)...or you can go off property...
July 10, 201016 yr ^ Why are you mad? When you plan a trip... You look into these kinds of things. Not one day in advance. If you go next year I recommend staying off property. My favorite motel in all of Sandusky is The Maples Motel. I love the staff the owner and they are nice people. The owners son even drove me and my sister to CP. My mother is allergic to well basically everything and she broke out in hives and he was kind enough to drop my sister and I off for a little coaster ridding. The town of Sandusky has many little cafe's and little places were you can get a bite to eat for little money. But in the future I really recommend this motel they are down the street from CP they are clean and friendly. Maples Motel Click that link for future trips. They even have free fresh donuts in the morning.
July 10, 201016 yr Author Well it was hard to tell if they had free breakfast on the website. So I just decided to ask someone here.
July 10, 201016 yr Castaway Bay has a great breakfast buffet at a very reasonable price. ( About 8.50-8.75.)If you like omelets or waffles they will make them special for you. There is also Breakwater Cafe ( I think its at Sandcastle Suites which is closer to your property ) or Fridays at The Breakers-both have breakfast buffets. ( Don't know the price or how good they are.)
July 10, 201016 yr The Concierge floor (10th floor) has a continental breakfast- but you have to be on that floor. TGI Fridays also serves a good breakfast. There is also a bagel/ donut/ muffin shop in Breakers.
July 11, 201016 yr Again, like I said before, Breakers Express had a free continintal breakfast when we went! It was good, and had a pretty nice selection. And opens at a reasonable time for the people who want to get into the park early. Cobra who antes up his two cents.
July 11, 201016 yr I believe they have a small donut stand in one of the shops in the lobby, I just grab two of those on my way out and eat them while I walk to the entrance.
July 11, 201016 yr I'm staying at the Comfort Inn which has a free continental breakfast. Considering I stayed at a Comfort Inn in April I know what to expect: Hard boiled eggs, waffles, pasteries, Bagels, Yogurt, Fruit, and Juice. Good enough to go to Cedar Point all day on!
July 11, 201016 yr That Comfort Inn breakfast may vary slightly from inn to inn. The Comfort Inn in Huron is a good one, and I am virtually sure you will have a great experience there!
July 12, 201016 yr Well mainly from experience from staying at GWL, Kings Island's official resort, I didn't even opt to stay at any of the Cedar Point "official" resorts due to the high price. It wouldn't surprise me to hear even continental breakfast is extra as that seems what "official" resorts are all about: Milking every last cent out of you. But even if Comfort Inn's breakfast is different than the one I stayed at in April, well at least its still free, and its something to eat. The main thing was we know Comfort Inn's are nice, maybe not Hilton or Marriott nice but they are still nicer than your local "Roach" motel, and it was only $150 to stay 2 nights. But for the record they had a description of their continental breakfast and it's pretty much exactly what I described, which isn't bad. Continental has moved up a long way from "hey free donuts" like it used to be when I was a kid.
