July 13, 201016 yr http://www.proslide.com/rides_02_c.php That's all I have to say... Great Wolf Lodge already has one of these (everyone calls it the toilet bowl). I don't think KI will be getting one... EDIT: Also, it is just as awesome as you think it is. GWl does not have this. They have this... http://www.proslide.com/rides_02_b.php
July 14, 201016 yr Though the ride began the 2009 season with its 8 inversion ride cycle (which it had used since its re-opening as The Crypt in the beginning of 2008), the ride cycle was changed on May 15 after a specialist from HUSS Rides visited the park. Though the reasoning behind the switch is undetermined, explanations range from the park seeking a more "tame, family-accessible" cycle, to stories that the HUSS specialist reported that the ride mechanism was tearing itself apart. A combination of both explanations may be true. Because all ride cycles must be approved by local and state government health and safety departments, and due to the fact that Tomb Raider: The Ride is the worlds only Giant Top Spin, only one cycle had been approved: the relatively mild, four-inversion cycle that included "hangtime" over the lava pits. With the removal of the ride's effects during its conversion to The Crypt, a tame cycle with segments meant to highlight special effects which were not there seemed rather counterproductive, so the more "thrilling" 8-flip cycle was installed. In order to accommodate the more quick and thrilling cycle, a row of seats had to be removed from the ride, reducing it to 2/3 of its original capacity and putting significant structural strain on the ride. link i'm aware of how information is posted and can be changed at any time, but i was wondering if anyone on here that knows if this is true, and can tell us if it's true, would. i mean, could maintenance not see that without huss telling them so?
July 14, 201016 yr Wikipedia? I wonder which 14 year old kid posted that this time? Terpy, who tires of seeing that as a reliable source...it isn't (And what government health department approves ride cycles? What rubbish...something about a tale told by an idiot comes to mind...)
July 14, 201016 yr Now Terpy there are a couple of words that are true in there.........it's just none of them are in the right order!!
July 14, 201016 yr HA! Wikipedia? Articles like this one sometimes make me think it would be better to delete the entire website... Especially with people misconstruing information about one of my favorite rides... But then again, who reads the Wikipedia page for The Crypt at Kings Island in Ohio?
