Let's be honest. The Crypt is bad. Extremely boring and terribly themed. What I see as the next best thing to a new ride is a new program for The Crypt. If they made the ride more thrilling and possibly included theming while on the ride I would be extremely happy. The Crypt has great potential and they just need to use that.

the current program is the most thrilling one there is that doesn't cause extensive downtown, according to the park, i think it would be great if they'd add theming to more than just the pre-ride chamber and indoor line, but don't expect there to be any water features if they do add theming.

Honestly, the Crypt seems like more of a hassle than its really worth in my opinion.

I agree HTCO. You also have to remember KI is an amusement park not a theme park and I do not believe CF is interested in theming. I think The park looks great, sure it could use some theming but I doubt this is going to happen. There is a lot more things about the park that could be done besides a rides look.

I agree with that too , I think it is a waste of space however there are those who love the ride.

I don't think it is that bad -- the theming is basically dead but it is still fun to me.

The Crypt is the first ride I know that has had extensive downtown!

... then there are those, like me, who just ride it for the fact that they're riding on the world's largest top spin ever built, that and the fact they love the noise the gears make while flipping the gondola.

the noise kind of reminds me of the noise the titanic was making in the movie while it was taking on water.

Kings Island has said many times that the program installed May 2009 was the one that has brought downtime to the smallest it's been and ridership to some of the highest it's been in a while. I think they like it, maybe they'll listen to us, the paying guests.

The Crypt is not even exciting.....even with the theme, it doesn't seem very exciting to me. It's a waste of space (the huge building) and a waste of money. Just get rid of it, and replace that same area with a nice, fun, flat ride like an Enterprise.

Tomb Raider was the opposite of boring. In 2005, I remember all I rode one day was TR and Beast..

Slingshot and Thunder Alley both work well for the park and bring in more money, why would KI remove it? Why do you think so many parks have Slingshots that have additional charges?

I am a big fan of flume rides.

When WWC at CP was removed, I was disappointed.

When KCKC was removed, I was disappointed.

When I rode Maverick for the first time, I loved the ride and kept talking about it.

When I rode TR;TR for the first time, I talked about how disappointing it was to lose KCKC.

I guess it doesn't even matter since 2012 is the end of the world.

Great Wolf Lodge already has one of these (everyone calls it the toilet bowl). I don't think KI will be getting one...

I rode the one at GWL, and fell off of it during the toilet bowl. The drop caught me by surprise, so I slipped off and did the rest of the slide on my body....I will never ride one of those again.
