Purplehaze
That is confusing, I know the KI web page says Wed but the email I got from GTKW says Monday. · In order to participate in the marathon and receive food, a t-shirt and admission to the park, each participant must raise or donate at least $50 by Monday, July 26, 2010. · All donations, whether raised online or offline, must be entered into the FirstGiving.com site. · Based off of the information on the FirstGiving.com site, GKTW will determine the top fundraisers and who receives which prizes. All prizes should be given out after the marathon is over. · Each participant must turn in all his or her offline donations to the park on the day of the event. · Certificates should be given to each participant only after their total donations have been collected and then after the marathon is over. All donations should be collected by the park on the day of the event and sent to Give Kids The World in the pre-addressed envelope included with this package. · All checks must be made out to Give Kids The World. · Anyone who raised over $100, will receive a insulated beverage bag. (This information must be entered into the participant's first giving page so that GKTW will know how many bags to send to each park.) UnrealNightmare
I forgot, I thought i read somehwere that the park opens at 6:30 for event participants. I might be wrong...anyone know? My girlfriend and I will both be there. We've made the minimum amount but we are still trying to raise more. I'm going to try all the way until the day before. From what I understand you can still collect donations until the 28th you just have to be at the minimum by Monday night.

Purplehaze
Weather.com says no rain Thursday but other news weather sites says storms...lol
DaveStroem
Well it was supposed to have rained all day yesterday according to weather.com. I think that the weather.coms and the like have seriously hurt amusement park attendance. If you look at those to plan your trips they seem to wrong more then they are correct. DaveStroem
Just to let anyone know that is sitting on the fence about making a donation. I have decided to match any donations in my Coasting for Kids account up to $200. They have to be made by 11:30 tomorrow morning (Wednesday). This way your money will go twice as far. Purplehaze
Hey dave you guys doing it as one as a family or you each having your own pages
DaveStroem
Ours is a family page. I think that you and my friend Travis from CoasterBuzz are in the lead. I am hoping to get a bunch from my matching offer. I have no idea how they will figure our page in for the prizes (not our reason for doing this) I would hope that they figure in $50 for the 3 and the balance for the other and not just divide by 4.
