TH13TEEN
So it's just a Intamin hick-up... I think maybe the media just had a slow day...
pkiboy
I have Only Ridden 2 of the Supermans one at Six Flags America and Six Flags New England now called Bizarro. But you have to Admit BIZARRO IS NUMBER 1 .
The Interpreter
a. There is a lot more information in that article than just about Ride of Steel. If you don't know much about the INTAMIN hypers, it is a very good (and very accurate) read. b. No, I don't have to admit that Bizarro is number 1. It isn't my favorite steel, and hasn't been for some time now. My favorite wood also used to be in that park. Alterations to both coasters and a newer steel from INTAMIN changed my opinion. Maverick is, by far, my favorite coaster, but only in the front row...Of the three once Superman: Ride of Steel coasters, The Coaster Now Known As Bizarro is by far superior to the other two, though. DaveStroem
When we were at Darien Lake last year they only were running 1 train on ROS. I spoke with the ride manager and was told that they were using the 2nd train for parts. I was also told by another enthusiast that I trust that Parc has had problem getting parts from Intamin. Something about them liking to get paid for what the parts they have already been shipped before sending more.
The Interpreter
Would that be anything like not getting the manufacturer's seal of approval to operate one's brand new water attraction until it was paid for?
