TheBeastLover
Where are some of KI's old rides (like Sceamin' Demon and The Rotor) located at? I know KI will never throw anything away, they will either sell it or or put it somewhere stupid like out in a field or in FOF's building? Snowman
One of my favorites is this great big ol' wooden coaster they seem to be keeping stored behind Thunder Alley and beside Flight Deck.

Screamin Demon was sold to Camden Park which ran as Thunderbolt Express from 1988-2000. It did not operate in 2001, but it had a sign saying it would re-open in 2002, but it never happened. The ride has been torn down and probably used as scrap metal. The Rotor sat behind The Racer for a year or so, and then it was probably scrapped as well. You know who was bad about stashing old rides? Geauga Lake / Six Flags Ohio / Six Flags Worlds of Adventure / Geauga Lake & Wildwater Kingdom / Geauga Lake's Wildwater Kingdom Several of the old Funtime-era flats are still in pieces scattered around the property... including their beautiful old Musik Express. The Interpreter
I know the last time i looked, King Cobra's trains were in FOF's building. They have since been moved to Kings Dominion, where they were at last count being used for spare parts... Most older rides that left Kings Island went to precincts unknown. That's the way it was back then. Wheel of Fortune is Casino now at Del Grosso's in Pennsylvania. There is some discussion of older KI rides that are no longer there at: http://www.KICentral...=1 And of course the Flying Eagles live at Carowinds...many threads about that...
