IBEW_Sparky
OK, for those of you that follow this MUCH more closely than I do, I am curious as to something I saw today. I was eastbound on I-70 just west of Indy, and I passed a semi with a flatbed trailer, which was loaded with what I am 100% certain to be sections of used B&M track and supports. What B&M coaster was dismantled this year that was located west of Indiana? The supports were blue and the track was orange.
HTCO
Could be some Chang pieces on their way to its new location. Not for sure though.
The Interpreter
Chang was never blue and orange. And all of Chang is present and accounted for in its new location...New Jersey. EDIT: But see: http://www.screamsca...t_adventure.htm ...2011 - Green Lantern - Confirmed - (11/15/10) A reader dropped by the B&M Steel fabication plant in Ohio this past week only to discover a number of Chang track pieces on site. (see photos below) I'm not sure if they were being refurbished or just repainted, but it's interesting to see that some still have the old stickers on the ends, clearing labeling them as being for Kentucky Kingdom back in the day.... IBEW_Sparky
Two things make that not possible... 1)There would be no logical reason for a semi to be west of Indianapolis traveling east if it had pieces of Chang on its trailer, a coaster previously located 2 hours southeast of Indy 2)Chang had yellow track, not dark orange. Beast1979
The only Blue and Orange B&M's I can think of are Talon and Behemoth, both ways away. I'm stumped.
HTCO
Dominator at Kings Dominion is orange and blue...
IBEW_Sparky
OK, after further investigation, it has been determined that Scott is an idiot! I was mistaken, it was not B&M track, the spine looks more along the lines of Arrow or Vekoma track.
Beast1979
Dominator at Kings Dominion is orange and blue... I stand corrected, those were just the ones I could think of off the top of my head.

The Interpreter
Terp's going to spend some time trying to interpret that one, folks! (What did he just say? Hmmm.....perhaps we should shed light on it from a green lantern...)
The Interpreter
Screamscape today: ...General News - (11/15/10) Over the weekend a mystery coaster sighting was sent in. The reader claims to have seen what looked like Vekoma (or Arrow I suppose) coaster parts on a semi truck heading east on I-78 in the Bethlehem, PA area, which seems to send it in the NY, NJ or New England direction. The pieces appeared to be “used” and had Orange track and Blue supports. Anyone have any ideas what it may have been for?... http://www.screamscape.com/html/industry_news.htm#General See also my edited post above....apparently some Chang pieces ARE/were being repainted or something at Batavia.... The Interpreter
Screamscape this morning says the mystery track is actually Zamperla track from Elitch's headed to Coney Island's redevelopment, Luna Park: http://www.screamsca...ews.htm#General Track pictures here: http://www.screamsca...tch_gardens.htm Makes sense.... DaveStroem
So Mr Terpy, have you ridden the Volare from Elitch? If so then you get the pleasure of sitting it out while the rest of us credit whores take our ibuprofen before climbing aboard.
