November 14, 201015 yr I stumbled upon a site this morning that has me in awe. http://www.shorpy.com In particular check out the Detroit Publishing collection under Photographers. Most of these photos are from the Library of Congress collections. Cincinnati circa 1909. "Chester Park -- the Tickler." Now "not as rough." 8x10 inch dry plate glass negative, Detroit Publishing Company Hopefully we might soon see a sign like that on a coaster in the Action Zone.

November 14, 201015 yr I'm old enough to have known some people who rode one. And all they could tell me is they were tickled.
