beastrider97
I can't seem to find it on the website. We went to Kings Island over spring break last year and they had people there selling passes and taking the pictures so you didn't have to do this on the hectic opening day. Are they doing this again this year?
Jasper
Are you talking about Processing, that starts April 15th.

beastrider97
Oh, I feel stupid... Thanks a lot! Now to figure out when we'll go.
The Interpreter
Don't feel stupid. You were smart enough to ask!

taters22
If you renewed online, do you still need to get it processed? Its my first time renewing online.
The Interpreter
Your renewal receipt should tell you. Usually you do NOT have to process again these days. You could also call the park and ask...have your pass and its number handy...
rivertowngirl
If you renewed online, do you still need to get it processed? Its my first time renewing online. I had the exact same question. I just emailed KI about this. I will post their reply as soon as I hear back.
CedarPointer
Unless it's changed from last season, no.
IndyGuy4KI
I wonder about upgrading from Gold to Platinum. I already have a 2011 Gold pass from KI, but plan on upgrading to the Platinum. I am guessing I have to do that at the park?
The Interpreter
Yes, it MUST be done at the same park where purchased. In order to upgrade, you will pay the then current platinum pass price less what you actually paid already...and it must be processed at the park where purchased (for fairly obvious reasons). Burgtoad67
Not to revive a dead thread too much, but I was planning on taking my sister down later to get her pass and I was just wondering, where should i park?
Cody
If you're getting your pass renewed, just go online and do it. 1. its actually like ten bucks cheaper then getting a new one 2. you can re-use the pass you got last year

Just be sure to go to Kings Island as your first park if it's a Platinum Pass...or you may find it doesn't work... My Sister lost her pass from last year so we couldn't do it online, but I'm always willing to drive down to the park. They were able to look her up so we still got the reduced price. I also managed to snag a park map a little early
