I can't seem to find it on the website. We went to Kings Island over spring break last year and they had people there selling passes and taking the pictures so you didn't have to do this on the hectic opening day. Are they doing this again this year?

Your renewal receipt should tell you. Usually you do NOT have to process again these days. You could also call the park and ask...have your pass and its number handy...

I wonder about upgrading from Gold to Platinum. I already have a 2011 Gold pass from KI, but plan on upgrading to the Platinum. I am guessing I have to do that at the park?

Yes, it MUST be done at the same park where purchased. In order to upgrade, you will pay the then current platinum pass price less what you actually paid already...and it must be processed at the park where purchased (for fairly obvious reasons).

3. Just be sure to go to Kings Island as your first park if it's a Platinum Pass...or you may find it doesn't work...

Thanks! My Sister lost her pass from last year so we couldn't do it online, but I'm always willing to drive down to the park. They were able to look her up so we still got the reduced price. I also managed to snag a park map a little early
