KI FANATIC 37
So I am taking my first trip to Carowinds in about 3 weeks. Are plan is to take a pit stop there for the day. We are heading to the beach that week and that is are break area. We will be there for about 7 hrs. What are the big rides to ht at that park? Completely off-topic, but who is going to see the Final Harry Potter? I honestly cannot wait! I think my dad and I are going to see the midnight premiere. CoasterGeek101
Do Intimidator, it is just like Diamondback, obviously.
The Interpreter
Uh, have you ridden both? I don't even think rides like Nitro and SFOG's Goliath are just alike, much less Diamondback and Intimidator. Don't miss the country's best flying scooters that used to be at KI. And Afterburn, the south's best B and M of its type (monwho?)

CoastersRZ
And don`t forget that those scooters originated at another Island! Diamondback and Intimidator at Carorwinds are slightly different beasts. I like Diamondback a little bit better, in part because it has a better setting than Intimidator, which skirts Carowinds` parking lot. I absolutely adore Afterburn. It is one awesome invert from B&M and among my favorite inverts I`ve been on (out of Raptor, Afterburn, Dragon Challenge, and Montu). Carowinds is definitely a nice little park. Depending on the crowds, you should be able to get most of the rides in during a seven hour visit.

Titan
Make sure you ride Night Hawk too, it's my favorite Vekoma Flying Coaster. Knowing there's only two other Vekoma Flying Dutchman's in the U.S

CodyDL
You must ride thunder road! Best wooden racing coaster in my opinion. The padding is SO good its like youre on a cloud... most beat you around with little padding. Nighthawk is a long wait and isnt that great. Int is better than DB all because of the second hill. DB to me is kinda boring and DUHH you better ride afterburn, best invert ever!
Captain Picard
Coaster Stock is on July 23 for those that don't know. There was some here last year that missed out on it. http://www.carowinds.com/public/visit/schedule/events.cfm?mode=story&chip=
