Favorite Wooden Coaster at Kings Island

Featured Replies

my favorite wooden coaster at Kings Island is Son of Beast. even if it isn't open, it's still there.

Null vote because my choice isn't listed.

My favorite is the winning Racer.

I love The Racers, I mean they're a classic and they pack a thrill. But I have to go with The Beast. It's still the best wooden coaster in the world in my eyes. And the fact that it's held the record for the longest wooden coaster in the world for 32 years, it makes it even better! I don't care if China will get the "new" longest wooden coaster. Because I know it won't out due the Big, Bad, Beast! Woop!

That's hard! The Beast it a classic and that first drop and the ending are just amazing.

The Racers were there in 1972 and have 10 hills and speeds up to 61 mph.

The Woodstock Express was my first wooden coaster and brings back many memories.

My vote goes to The Beast.

Definitely The Beast, although there is something about riding the Blue Racer that just makes me so happy. It brings back a lot of memories.

I just noticed that you added SOB and the winning Racer to the list of options. My vote has now been officially cast for the winning Racer.

I remember when I was young it was all about getting the winning side. I would be so sad when we lost. Sometimes I would almost cry. Some mght say I was a strange child. :P

^I don't like to be, but sometimes I end up on the losing side of things!

Soy un perdedor, I'm a loser baby, so why don't you kill me?

Son of Beast as it originally opened (with the heavier cars and the loop) would be my favorite, but since we all know that's not going to happen again, I'll go for Beast :)

Some people take the whole 'racing' thing a little too seriously. I get flipped off nearly every time I ride The Racer. Probably because i make faces to the other side. ;)

I know! I was riding in the back seat in the Blue Racer and we were like half an inch behind. This 8 year old kid in the back of the Red Racer started making fun of us. I screamed you're just jealous because you're too short to ride the big rides!!!

Yeah the kid's mom wasn't very happy. :(

At least we won. :P

Son of Beast! My 2nd favorite coaster..... I remember when we moved to Ohio from Illinois, I saw it closed and instantly wanted to ride it. It made me happy as it has a great first drop, like The Boss @ Six Flags St. Louis.

100 percent The Beast, it was my first roller coaster taller than 100' so it just brings back memories.

I never got to ride Son of Beast i wish i had though i had the chance to but that was before i liked coasters

  • 1 month later...

I picked SOB, but original w/ loop. If your talkin no loop than I'd say Beast.

You should actually have two options for The Beast, the regular ride, and the night ride. I still say The Beast anyways, but at night that ride turns into something else.

The Beast for sure :) Woodstock express second though. That was my fav coaster when i was about 7 years old

thats so awsome love it but my favorite was Son of Beast but if I was to ride it today and it beat me up I may change my answer to The Beast

If you go to Holiday World, and you were alive in the 70s you can't vote in this poll, because of you know how Paramount and Cedar Fair ruined these coasters.....
