Dinosaurs Alive! for Canada's Wonderland 2012

Featured Replies

2012 is apparently the Year of the Leak. It's just a login page now, but the Google cache shows what slipped out. I'm at the point now with all the WindSeekers and DA! exhibits that I can only shake my head at this. Your thoughts?

Bring profitable attractions to all the parks. What a bad idea. Better get the memo out to Disney, a lot of their parks have those castle things...

Why, Cedar Fair, why? Each park needs to be unique. Now every Cedar Fair park almost has a DA! or WindSeeker.

When the typical Cedar Fair guests visit one and only one Cedar Fair park, and the company is in business to make money, given the company's story that Dinosaurs Alive is highly lucrative, why would each park have to be unique? Why should it be?

Yeah, there are at least half a dozen castles, four Tower of Terrors, six Space Mountains, four Splash Mountains, seven Dumbos...

And two Eiffel Towers, five Action Theaters, two Flight of Fears, three Italian Jobs, two Crypts...

Really, before all of these WindSeekers and Dinosuars Alives were coming, I noticed that Cedar Fair added a lot more rides than family rides, like Behemoth, Diamondback, Intimidator, and more. And now, the only major ride that Cedar Fair is adding is Leviathan. I think that they are just trying to make a good balance of rides and attractions at each park. While it may seem that they are making every park the same, I think after a majority of parks get these attractions or other family attractions, the roller coasters and thrill rides will come back. The only parks I object a Dinosuars Alive at is Great America, obviously because of the lack of room, Cedar Point, for which it seems silly to have it under Millenium Force. It won't feel like you stepped back into time because you will hear the sound of technology, you will hear Millennium Force. Cedar Point and Great America are the only parks I object to a DA! at. Every CF park I think should get a WindSeeker, ESPECIALLY Michigans Adventure should get a WindSeeker and DA! for which the two attractions were made for that park.

Now that you mention it, I actually really like the idea of MA getting at least a WindSeeker. That's the one place I can see a WS living up to the hype CF sets up for these things.

It's in Planet Snoopy, too... Smart. Very smart.
