Quinn
I did a search but couldnt find anything. If there is a topic on this already, a link would be much appreciated, Does anybody know where I could find the consecutive ride records for most rides in a day at the park for a specific coaster? Would something like that even exist? Thanks in advance for any info you can give me!
Captain Nemo
I know the old Tomb Raider ride is 30!
Quinn
Basically here is what I want to try to do... 3 years ago my dad passed away from a freak virus that attacks your heart and is very hard to detect. It killed him in 3 days and doctors really dont know why. He loved going to Kings Island but suffered from motion sickness so the only ride he really coould do was Adventure Express. I'm trying to put together some sort of fundraisor in his honor to raise money for a foundation that does research for his condition by setting the consecutive ride record for Andventure Express. First step outside talking to park management is to find out how many times I will have to ride it to set or break the record. I have no idea though where to even start looking for something like that.
kingsrattler
If someone had knowledge of an official number it would be the park. Try contacting them. Kings Island does something like this every year as a fundraiser for a specific foundation. If they do it for one foundation, couldn't hurt to propose them do it for a different foundation. AZ Kinda Guy
The park does not keep any kind of record of this and if someone tells you a number, chances are it's been beaten or they are going thru what they heard.
MarketingExpress
When you say consecutive, are you getting out and walking through the entrance each time or just staying seated in the same seat without having to get out?
flightoffear1996
I've ridden Adventure Express 43 times in row. I had to wait in line of course each time
LongliveKingsCobra
I've ridden The Racer 116 times.... in one day.... ....in 5 hours.....with no line.... EDIT: Got the number off by...a lot...hahaha fixed it. So I can tell you 1 or 2 things, You'd have to contact the park. You woln't be able to get a train by yourself, nor be able to ride nonstop, you'll have to wait in line like everyone else. Of course you could go in when Coasting for Kids goes, and ride The Racer instead, thats how I got my record.
Quinn
I would probably have to get out and go through the line again as to not cut anybody off. Unless it could be worked out as a fundraiser type deal and one seat was reserved for me for a day somehow. it's kinda weird that the park wouldnt keep a record of that. To me it seems like a way to get people on the rides. Just my opinion. Anyway. Im going to call the park and see what I can come up with. Thanks for the help so far! AZ Kinda Guy
Once you're in the park, the last thing the park cares about is getting you on rides.
The Interpreter
And, in fact, for a while, under Paramount, at at least some parks, it was a policy that no one could ride any coaster more than twice without exiting the station, even during ERT, and even if no one was in line for the seat. This was, at times, rigidly enforced, as a safety measure.
