Ball
Hello, I will be visiting PKI for my first time this year. I have searched for these questions and couldnt find any info. Is PKI enjoyable to go through in one day or is two days better? I have been to Cedar Point a few times and its best to spend a couple days there to enjoy the park as there is a lot to do. Im driving about 9 hours to go to PKI, so I want to know how many days I should stay in the park as I dont know how big it is. I want to hit the water park also, but dont plan on spending a lot of time there. It doesnt look like it would take two days to enjoy the park, but looks can be decieving. If you can enjoy the park in one day, than I would rather do that. I know that depends on how busy the days is, but generally speaking, is PKI a one day park or a 2 day park and if so, why? Thanks! beastdude
Three days. The park is huge and if you want to spend a time at the water park then that is a day by itself. There is so much stuff to do I don't even know were to begin. Ride all the coasters. Definetly go on Scooby doo and the haunted castle ride and no matter what people say HB and Nickelodeon central can bbe enjoyed by adults. More later PS Have fun
StXBomber
You don't need three days, two would do it. You could do the regular park on one day, and the water park on the other. As long as you go during the week (wed is best day), and not on weekends, you can do both parks in 2 days. Weekends may need 3. I hope you enjoy your first trip to PKI! It really is a great park. SixFlagsMasta
o yay! first timers. he's a PKI virgin ok anyways yea i would take the first day in the park and then only like 1/2 day in the water park (even though it's not open yet) and then the other half of the second day on your fav. rides in the park but really you don't need 3 days. though i guess the more the merrier
beastdude
I would go for three if you want to go to some shows and eat at some resturants But then again thats just me
Ball
I guess it sounds like I should spend two days there. Im actually going on June 26th for BeastBuzz. I figured if Im driving all that way, I might as well make it to a special event. Has anyone been to these? Whats it like?
StXBomber
I worked FoF at BeastBuzz last year. Basically people go ride rides all day, then after the park closes, all the people get ERT after close.
carpetarson
Hey, im going on june 26th too for beastbuzz. i for one have not gone to anyof these but form what i here they do a very good job of treating you. Im figuring it to be very crowed so i am going to go the day before to get in most my riding
coasterrz
Yes, since the 26 of June is a Saturday in June, BeastBuzz will undoubtedly be crowded. But the special perks, like the ERT after the park closes, the special tours of The Beast, Son of Beast and Tomb Raider, in addition to the other special perks that PKI rolls out like park trivia and scavenger hunts. It is sure to be a fun time. Obviously, there will be some sort of tribute to The Beast since it is the official celebration of The Beast`s 25th anniversary. TopThrillDragster
2 days its not Cedar Point. Cedar Point is a 2 1/2 to 3 day park bc all the rides and coasters. Pki you can do in 2 days because there iinst as much stuff to do. Its a great park and you will really enjoy yourself. Boomerang Bay will be awesome and make sure you ride The Beast at night and ride Delirium!
DeliriumDreamer
I agree, 2 days should do it. Action Zone is a must-do. If you are a true thrill seeker, you might want to do some of the rides there more than once (especially Son of Beast and Delirium) Our pay-per-rides are well worth it, too. While you're there, try some games, eat at potato works or wings, and enjoy your day in the sun.
CaviMan2
i think that stxbomber is on something....the park is for sure a 3-dayer to get the full experience...the hard park in 2 and the water in 1...he can do the whole park in 1 day cause he doesnt ride everything...but with kids you can count on every ride being appealing... PKI Homey
You can do it all in one day if you don't go to boomerang bay. You can ride all the major rides in one day, but I would go for two in your case since you are traveling. It is definitely not a three day park. RevengeofTheSmurfs
I hear BB will be HUGE! but I very rarely goto the waterpark and plus with my daughter I cant really enjoy the park like I would like to.
Ball
Thanks for the help everyone. I appreciate it. I do have one more question tough. Its about Delerium. My wife gets really sick on rides that just go back and forth. She can't ride the swinging ship rides and even got sick from Wicked Twister in Cedar Point and Omegatron in Worlds of Fun. Its something to do with going back and forth, back and forth. Does Delerium give you the same sensation as these types of rides? Does the spinning or speed at which it moves make it different? I want to ride it, but was just wondering if my wife should even try it. Thanks again.
Dane
It's about 5 times harder than those rides. So, No on Delirium. If you ride it, TIE YOUR SHOES!
beastdude
ya definetly have your wife stay off Delirium. If she tell you that she wants to go on tomb raider tell her otherwize. Many people don't know what tomb raider is untill they are on it. Beilive it or not most people think it is the movie playing in a theater. DeliriumDreamer
yeah, Delirium does give you that same swinging feeling that the other swinging rides do. I don't think she should try it if she is that worried. Don't try the viking ship either.
TopThrillDragster
Delirium is like a swinging ship on steriods! Its crazy! Even though your wife wont ride you NEED to ride this one of a kind ride. Its so awesome and is the best ride(not coaster) in the park!
Ball
Thanks everyone. Maybe she can try it last before we leave the park. Of course, that might not make the rest of the night very fun...
flyer06
I dont know, its not the bad. I normally can't ride rides that go in circles but I can ride Delirium as long as its only once at a time. But I wouldnt suggest more than once within a few hours.. I had the pleasure last year of 3 times in a row, thanks to a certain somone... and yeah not fun. But once should be fine..
