April 2, 201214 yr Check out the images that Coney posted to their Facebook. Coney is installing a floral clock this year by the Tilt A Whirl! While there are no new rides this year, they are certainly focusing on fresh landscaping! It is looking good!
April 2, 201214 yr Landscaping still counts as an attraction in my book, and since rides are also attractions....
April 3, 201214 yr While being a person that saw KI in its opening year to today, I also hope CF will bring back a lot of the beautiful landscaping that KI had in those early years. I grew up going to Cp for years before KI was even built and always thought it created a different atmosphere in the park at KI. I would like to see the new CEO bring that back and would be very happy if that was spread that around all of the parks instead of building the same rides in every park. Why would I and my family want to buy our Platinum passes to go to these other parks if they are all the same, If you have ridden one WindSeeker you have ridden them all.
April 3, 201214 yr Glad to see that the floral clock has finally become a reality! There was some talk about this happening as far back as 2000 when I was still a manager down at Coney.
April 10, 201214 yr I hope it is similar to the original one: The original was located by the fountain that is still there. Are they doing anything with the fountain? pilotank
April 10, 201214 yr This is wonderful. Park up north: Take notes. Maple Grove? Of course. No, I believe he was referring to Geauga Lake.
April 10, 201214 yr This is great for Coney ,, great additions a bit of the past for todays coneys fans.
April 10, 201214 yr Author As far as I know, the fountain will be similar to how it has been the last few years. The clock is over by Tilt A Whirl.
