Tanna
Foo! They shouldn't lay the blame on KI. It looks like there were buckets of other factors in play as to why Frontier Worlds didn't come into fruition. Besides, a description of the park sounds too much like a walking tour through a James Jarmusch movie.
Guest rcfreak339
^No...the biggest reason was indeed Kings Island. I do remember seeing an interview a short while back about how the original managers of Kings Island were so upset about this new park that they, "made a few calls" and essentially ended it. But hey, that was soooooooooooooooooooooooooooo 40 years ago!
Thrill_Biscuit
Yes. I saw them "fess" up to that. It would have been a real boon for northern Ky...
westcoaster
Imagine if it had went through would Kings Island still have made it? Or would this be the park for the whole tristate?

Wow...what a flashback.... the first movie I ever worked on was "Mystery Train". Jim called it "A Tuesday Night In Memphis" while we were shooting it. Nice random reference!!

Robert Mitchum talking to that bear killed me.
