Magm&MForce24/7
http://www.13abc.com...g-for-over-hour Makes me curious to see if our WindSeeker will have even more lengthy downtime this season...
CedarPointer
Ride has mechanical issue, more at 11!
ahank
I was literally just about to post the same topic. I'd bet that we'll see WindSeeker go down for a little bit this week just to make sure that nothing like this happens at Kings Island or any of the other locations. TheCrypt
This begs the questions: Will all the WindSeekers be closed to make sure this won't happen again? Are these rides looking very appetizing to the Suits up North? Is anyone else wondering what they mean by "manually lowered to the ground"?! KIfan1980
Is anyone else wondering what they mean by "manually lowered to the ground"?! When in line once, I asked about a device on the outside of the tower (queue side) that I was told was part of the manual lowering system. I'm sure someone has a picture that shows it, but as I understand it is like a set of chainfalls that would allow the gondola to be lowered by hand in the event of a problem. Oldschool75
Is anyone else wondering what they mean by "manually lowered to the ground"?! Means operating the portion of the ride that raises and lower with manual labor( using a hand crank of sorts) instead of the use of powered force such as hydraulic or motorized help. westcoaster
Thats not good for WindSeeker for sure! Hope all is good
RollerNut
It could mean that thre ride was brought down in manual MODE meaning maintenance gave the computer the direct commabd to lower the ride and nothing where as Ride Ops operate the rides in automatic mode which means the ride performs its cycle with the.command to start. Example: Carowinds Maintenance could lower the lifts one or all. They could them drop them too, Ride ops just press the start and stop buttons.
