Gold passes

Featured Replies

Hello KICentral,

First I have to say I have learned a lot from this websitr over the years.

One thing I need to know is if I get me season pass, today or tomorrow, would it be gold or blue?

Blue, unless you already bought your Gold pass before the deadline. But if your buying a KI pass today it will be Blue, as Gold is gone for the season unless you already have one that is.

you have to be 18 years or older to purchase any season pass at KI or CF park with Proper ID Have fun when you go!!

but unless its bought online bring the E ticket to the park and process it.

^Um, no. You do not have to be 18 to buy a pass at the park. They will gladly sell one to anyone who has the money for it. They're not going to turn away a 15 year old who wants to buy their own pass.

What? Yes, you need proper ID for a credit card (you can't use someone else's), but I have never heard that you had to be 18 to buy a pass...

Well my step mom is ordering mine online today, what's confusing is that, when she does order it and get the voucher code, would she have to come in with me to get it? She really doesn't want to. Can I just go in and give them the Voucher?

Hey Guys! My mom bought me a gold season pass... But she bought it on-line and lives in N.C...She did not come with me to Ohio and I'm going to go next week...So what do I do? I would really like to get in. Please help me! And if shes not there with her ID would I still be able to still get it processed and get my pic taken? Thanks~KingsIslandJonasGirl

They can look it up with the confirmation number (or the barcode number off the actual voucher).

Thanks CedarPointer! Your a big help! Cause I was getting worried about it! Thanks a bunch! They'd prob be like why is a 16 year-old paying for a pass with a credit card!lol

I had a confirmation email that had a link for re-printing the voucher. You could ask her to forward that.

Is there going to be another Bring-A-Friend day at Kings Island this year?

Just curious because Cedar Point has had quite a bit of them and now they're having it again.

No, they are not anymore bring a friend days this year. However you can earn a bring a friend for 9.99 or even a free bring a friend ticket thru fun perks. I have both that I can use.

Thanks, And does anyone know how much it usually costs to Re-new your season pass for the next year?

Gold & Platinum season passes for the 2013 season will go on sale Labor Day Weekend. Similar to past years, the best deal on a 2013 Gold or Platinum pass is in the fall. After October 28, the prices will go up.

Did I mention how great it is to have Don regularly provide information, keeping us updated? If I haven't, it is greatly appreciated. :)

It's so hard to beleive that 2013 passes are about to go on sale, and Halloween Haunt is less then a month away. Where has this season (Summer) gone?

Last year's passes I believe were about $150 if you renewed in the Fall. If you renews in their Buy Now Pay Later, I think they were around $160. Then once season started they were about $170-$180.

No clue how that will bear on next years Platinum Passes. I think Gold passes were like $69 during the Fall; and thereafter about $100.

Are you insane? My gold pass was $70 last year

"No clue how that will bear on next years Platinum Passes. I think Gold passes were like $69 during the Fall; and thereafter about $100"that's what he said..

Worlds of Fun and Valleyfair now have their 2013 season pass prices up. The early bird pricing on 2013 Platinum passes is $164, an increase of $14 from last year. Considering that platinum pricing is driven by Cedar Point, and they'll have Gatekeeper, this increase seems expected. They're also making use of their installment system (with 6 installments) this fall, which could help them market higher prices.

Valleyfair's gold passes have actually dropped $5 this year, to $65 each. Worlds of Fun's gold passes seem to have been raised $10, to $90 each
