June 10, 201214 yr Glad you enjoyed your trip and thanks for sharing. These reports just go to show how much time is really needed to see and do everything at WDW as I found myself cringing at times that you missed something that I really enjoyed at a park like the Lion King show at AK (which is perfect for a rainy day), but your memories and enjoyment are based on the fun you had doing what you did. And you can try some new things another time.
June 11, 201214 yr Author Sorry about the no pictures. I honestly took very little pictures. I'd much rather be enjoying the park than worrying about pictures. Check out TheCrypt's Universal trip report for pictures !
June 12, 201214 yr Author You had some pretty cool pictures. I stink at taking pictures! Random , but I'm feeling the post vacation blues right now. It just went by so fast! Someone help me out here
June 12, 201214 yr At least you had a vacation! Terp, who's not had a single day of leave off this year, and who must do so soon!
June 12, 201214 yr Author Since I stated above I have the post vacation blues, I'll keep myself busy by ranking my favorite rides from my vacation, and rank them out of 10 now. 1. Harry Potter & The Forbidden Journey (IoA) 10/10 2. Tower of Terror (Hollywood Studios) 9/10 3. The Incredible Hulk (IoA) 9/10 4. Rock N' Roller Coaster (Hollywood Studios) 9/10 5. Expedition Everest (Animal Kingdom) 8/10 6. Space Mountain (Magic Kingdom) 8/10 7. Dinosaur (Animal Kingdom) 8/10 8. The Amazing Adventures of Spiderman (IoA) 7/10 9. Dragon Challenge (IoA) 7/10 10. Pirates of the Caribbean (Magic Kingdom) 7/10
June 12, 201214 yr No It's A Small World? Terp, one of the few, the proud defenders of this, an original celebration of diversity!
June 12, 201214 yr Author It's a good ride, but it's not a roller coaster or thrill ride, therefore it's not on my rankings! Although if I put it on my rankings it'd probably be around #20.
June 12, 201214 yr Well Dawg, your thread title says that it has some pictures, and you took some pictures, so why not post them? I for one would love to see them (it's been awhile since I've been to Disney--like 2 years! ), and I'd be thrilled to see your perspectives of Islands of Adventure!
June 12, 201214 yr Author Oh, by "some" pictures I seriously mean no pictures. I took one blurry photo of some soldiers on It's a Small World, and a one picture of the castle, and no pictures of IoA. Just too much to do!
June 18, 201214 yr I have been way behind reading trip reports lately...and yours didn't help...this is one of the longest that I have read around here in a long time! Thanks for taking the time to share your experience...it was a lot of fun to read!
