River Town

Featured Replies

I was just trying to make a point. Some things I say might come off as rude, but 9 times out of 10, they were never meant to be.

I personally love riverton. But theres just so much there. If they put "the next big thing for Kings Island" in there, all the other rides will be forgotten!!! Like the classic racer.

Never been, but they could definitely use a better web designer.

Also, at least three times Rivertown has housed "the next big thing for Kings Island." 1979, 2002, and 2009 come to mind. During any of those years, were the other rides 'forgotten?' Or do you just have to bring that up to mention Racer in your post?

They should have a sit down bar/food and show place in River Town called The Gold Miners Club. Cedar Point has a few of the same places. They are real nice.

Well sorry... I ment the general public. If a advrage family is going to Kings Island, would you serioulsy think that they would say "hey! Lets look up the land records of Kings Island!" Right? Most the people on here know though. I was just saying.... <_<

Where I was reared, "nobody" means nobody. This isn't Alice in Wonderland where words mean whatever the user thinks they do and the rest of us have to guess.

I just wish Rivertown SOUNDED like Rivertown instead of Popville.

It seems like Rivertown has the top two coasters at KI. Not to mention it had best flat ride from 2002-2007.

Harsh... Just... Harsh...

I would say there is plenty of land

I'm sorry :o ....but, No No No No No No No No No No No No No NO NO NO!!! You keep your thoughts for expansion out from: In/Around/Near/Above/Below/On/Out/Close/Beside or with a 33 and a 1/2ft pole of The Beast. ;) Those grounds are Sacred! LOL!

And for those who haven't visited Kings Dominion this year, even the path to Grizzly has been de-forested.

You must pass through the Jurassic Park style gift shop for Dinosaurs Alive which advertises via a huge sign, Dinosaurs Alive with itty-bitty print beneath saying "And Entrance for Grizzly." You pass through the dinosaur gift shop and take a newly-poured sidewalk out the back of it that leads to a large, round plaza with five paths: one from the shop, one toward Grizzly, one from Grizzly's exit, one toward the dinos, and one out of the dinos. It's a giant concrete plaza completely devoid of trees and ultra confusing.

Actually there is a long section of riverfront area that would be a great spot for a recreation of the Shooting Star.
