CoastersRZ Posted July 12, 2012 Posted July 12, 2012 Schlitterbahn must be doing something right, because it seems like they have been expanding a lot over the last several years. Quote
Oldiesmann Posted July 12, 2012 Posted July 12, 2012 Must be a nice area... Schlitterbahn is part of a proposed $552 million master plan for the island, which includes a marina in Lake Padre, an extension of the residential canal system, hotels, condos and single-family homes. A $117 million incentives package approved by City Council in May requires Schlitterbahn to begin construction within the next seven months and be finished with the first phase by summer 2013. Wikipedia says the island is about 1.6 miles wide but is 113 miles long. Quote
