KingsIsland1972 Posted July 20, 2012 Posted July 20, 2012 Didn't Coke make Surge? Gosh I'd love to have some of that again! They did. It tasted like a caffeine infused Mello Yello and was delish. I read this article and I guess we'll have to pack up the car and head to Norway if we want another bottle of it. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Surge_(soft_drink) I kinda would like a bottle of Fruitopia myself Quote
jcgoble3 Posted July 21, 2012 Posted July 21, 2012 ^ The Coke Freestyle Machine is in Hank's Burrito Shack. There is also a Freestyle machine in the International Street Fudge shop. 1 Quote

The Interpreter Posted August 25, 2012 Posted August 25, 2012 An interesting article on pour rights: http://www.hornets247.com/2012/08/02/new-orleans-arena-pour-rights-changing/ Quote
BeastForever Posted August 26, 2012 Posted August 26, 2012 Being more of a lemonade and fruit punch 'kind of guy' I personally prefer Coke over Pepsi. I LOVE their Hi-C and Minute Maid much better than Pepsi's competitor juice drink Tropicana. I definitely want Kings Island to stay with Coke, and if not all CF parks to have Coke. Coke drinks seem to pack a much bigger 'punch' than Pepsi. Quote
SonofBaconator Posted August 26, 2012 Posted August 26, 2012 I can't really see a park without cola products Quote
SonofBaconator Posted August 26, 2012 Posted August 26, 2012 I can believe it, I've never been to CP . Quote
TheCrypt Posted August 26, 2012 Posted August 26, 2012 What other parks has SonofBaconator visited? I know all CF parks omit the 5 Paramount Legacy parks have Pepsi. Me personally, I could see FUN go PEP instead of Coke because PEP is simply offering better deals as of late. Although I do realize that the current deals are not the only aspect of the diverse spectrum. Quote
KIfan1980 Posted August 26, 2012 Posted August 26, 2012 I can't really see a park without cola products Did you mean that you can't imagine a park without Coke products or a park without cola products. Noting that Pepsi-cola and even RC-cola are cola products - whereas some restaurants have moved away from them entirely (going to the all natural drink options) which I agree, I can't see a park doing. 1 Quote

LongliveKingsCobra Posted August 26, 2012 Posted August 26, 2012 As long as there are no fans where the people will be "lifting" 2 Quote
TheCrypt Posted August 26, 2012 Posted August 26, 2012 Maybe you could have half a Fizzy Lifting Drink in the half-office. Sounds safer--just as long as you don't try to sit on half a chair! 1 Quote
Original Posted August 26, 2012 Posted August 26, 2012 Today we went out to eat and they had a coca-cola freestyle machine. I LOVE IT! The peach and sprite is my favorite. Quote
The Interpreter Posted August 26, 2012 Posted August 26, 2012 Even Lagoon in Utah has Coke, though Sprite comes very close to outselling it there. Quote
homestar92 Posted August 26, 2012 Posted August 26, 2012 Some fizzy lifting drinks would help raise a person's spirit. Just don't steal fizzy lifting drinks. Because if you steal, fizzy lifting drinks, you lose! You get NOTHING! 2 Quote
The Interpreter Posted August 26, 2012 Posted August 26, 2012 If the cola contract changes, perhaps we can hear: CHEEBURGER, CHEEBURGER!!! Pepsi, Pepsi!!! 1 Quote

TTD-120-420 Posted August 26, 2012 Posted August 26, 2012 I wish we could get Arnold Palmer on tap. I'd buy drink wristbands every visit. 5 Quote
LongliveKingsCobra Posted August 26, 2012 Posted August 26, 2012 The Cabernet or the Iced Tea and Lemonade mix? Cobra, who has to ask that at work a lot! 1 Quote
KIBeast Posted August 26, 2012 Posted August 26, 2012 I prefer Coke over Pepsi, so I wish the entire chain would change. Quote
The Interpreter Posted August 26, 2012 Posted August 26, 2012 So, it bothers you that Pepsi is served at a park in Kansas or Minnesota? Quote
shark6495 Posted August 26, 2012 Posted August 26, 2012 The Cabernet or the Iced Tea and Lemonade mix? Cobra, who has to ask that at work a lot! a wrist band for either would be good... but the tea/lemonade mix is better... IMO 1 Quote
Sonofbeast2.0 Posted August 26, 2012 Author Posted August 26, 2012 The one thing of Coke I really don't like is Gold Peak Iced tea. I like very sweet tea. Mc Donald's has some good sweet tea sometimes. Quote
Sonofbeast2.0 Posted August 26, 2012 Author Posted August 26, 2012 I will have to give that a go sometime. Quote
TTD-120-420 Posted August 26, 2012 Posted August 26, 2012 I like the blue Powerade over all Pepsi products, but honestly I'm still going to get free cups of water. Doesn't matter to me. Quote
WOF Guy Posted August 27, 2012 Posted August 27, 2012 So, it bothers you that Pepsi is served at a park in Kansas or Minnesota? It bothers me that people assume WOF is in Kansas. 2 Quote

I went to CP for a short time today and got water and noticed you got the bigger paper cups with the Cedar Fair logo on it. Rather than at KI you get small plastic ones. Quote

Rather than at KI you get small plastic ones. Cedar Point has been selling tickets that include unlimited soft drinks for only a couple dollars more than a regular ticket recently, so I presume that they have many more drink wristbands than normal. This might make them a bit looser with the inventoried cups than they're supposed to be. Each time I was there this season, I got small cups with water identical to KI's. 1 Quote
