TheCrypt
Actually, Flight Deck and Adventure Express will be closed during the demolition of the lift hill and drop. Demo is in the off season, as well, no?

Bennett
There is more than enough demo work to keep the crews busy without disturbing the currently operating rides. The demo of the SOB track near AE and FD can be done during the days that the park is closed.

LongliveKingsCobra
I think the main idea here is think before you post; and don't post all willy nilly like!
BB1
Wow, 18 pages of pure FUN news. I wonder whats next! On the ride operation deal, someone knows. (BB1, who has his moments!)

TheCrypt
I understand the Terpy thing, but Terp doesn't do it at the end of EVERY post, and his are almost always understandable. That is, unless they're Cryptic.
A.S.Coasters
Flight Deck was broken yesterday, while leaving the park I saw a forklift pass by (right by the security booths in the parking lot) heading towards Flight Deck with a big gear the color of FD's. Which leads me to beleive it was having problems.
The Interpreter
Was it a KI Gear? Terp, cross threading.
KI-ORIG-EMP
Did the park order the gear from Spacely's Space Sprockets and by chance did George build it? Or did Cogswell build the original gear and it was of an inferior quality?

I now believe that all gears are being run through the Wah Wah Wah Factory and the great GM Woodstock.... They bought out Cogswell
oysterman
bring back SOB! it was too much of a high profile and fun ride (to me) to just waste. we have a whole epic rollercoaster built that could be used! here's how:
Jasper
I did notice Flight Deck was closed when I was there today, the first thing that entered my mind was how the proximity of FD to SoB could have something to do with the tearing down. Speculation of course, I do not claim this to be true or hold any water.
homestar92
Flight Deck was operating today.
Beastie1980
Flight Deck was operating today, I rode it twice. They closed it around 5:00 due to weather, I'm not sure what time they reopened it. I was on the final ride before they closed it for the storm, I saw lightning while I was going up the hill.
Thrill_Biscuit
Flight Deck and Adventure Express will be closed for some of the demolition. This post contains inaccurate information. I do have it on good authority, however, that the Son of Beast will be closed during demolition.
