coasterfanatic83
Yesterday I made my final trip of the year, since I will most likely not make it to Haunt this year. Just a few notes: -Son of Beast is rather majestic-looking, when you realize you will never see it again. -The damage on Flight of Fear's building looks like it may have gotten worse? -First time trying the cheese steaks, and they were good. -When did The Beast get new lights? -First time seeing Ed Alonzo's show, and I enjoyed it. I also agree that the performers might have been "a little too sexy" for children, but I don't mind -I'm gonna miss this park, at least until April.

The Interpreter
The last trip of the year is always mixed with sadness and anticipation for next year. There's been many a closing day at Kings Island and Cedar Point that found a Terpy in tears. Terp, who hopes to make at least one seasonal park's closing day this year...but where? And from where? And where will he go back to afterwards? Terp, who likes to ask questions.
VortexBFForever
^I've been to every KI closing day since 2010. Believe me, it'll be one of the best days to go (concerning the lines) even though after that day you'll have a six month wait straight ahead. The Interpreter
Of late, closing days have been far more busy at KI than in years' past. Cedar Point is hit and miss, with much depending on the weather (it's often very cold!). Terp, who has never been to a Great Adventure closing day (yet). TheCrypt
Are you referring to the orange-looking maintenance lights in the tunnels? They have been present (but turned off) for awhile now. Occasionally, you will be surprised with a lot up 2 tunnel (a surprise I hate! I may be in a minority, but I wish they didn't connect the 2 concrete tunnel things with a tunnel. The light seeps in from the bottom, and I wish you could see the valleys and terrain of the land. Tangent over) It is always sad to go on the last day of the year. I always watch the park from the moment we leave, until it disappears into the trees. It certainly is sad, but you know you will have something to look forward to later on.
Original
When I go I'll take pictures. But I cant upload them on KIC. Tryin' to give the crypt a hard time with an inside joke.

Then again, the lines were shorter by a bit on 10/02/11 than 10/30/11.
