So I've noticed many of the trip reports have had less than amazing reports of Slaughterhouse. Myself and the many other members of this forum who work there would love to know......what can we do to improve your experience? What are we doing right? Wrong? I was there a couple weeks ago. The only thing I missed was the guy with the chainsaw...Is he not there this year or was I just there at an off time.

Not there. No chainsaws at all this year. I guess there was a safety issue last year with them somewhere.

The actors didnt even move when I walked through.

Perhaps you scared them stiff!

I have yet this year to go to the nightly haunt, so this post will show my reviews on the Haunt, but if its like a few years ago, its a great haunt, it just takes the actors of the haunt, which I know are great, to really bring it to life. Look for a BB1 coming to a slaughterhouse near you...

Very boring compared to years past. Was the first night when I went thru it, but, was so bad that I have not been thru again. Not much effort by the scare actors.

Not having the chainsaw at the end really detracts from it.

May give it a go again tonight, going to use my 1/2 price Fright Lane passes.

I think many people are getting too used to the props, scares, and layout. It's the same year after year, with little to no differentiation (unless you count withering props as positive change). Like someone else stated, the actors try their hardest, but instead of a new maze every year, why don't we improve the fading ones next? CarnEVIL, Slaughterhouse, Massacre Manor, Cut Throat Cove, Club Blood...all are too familiar, at least for me.

....Or bring back old classics, like the curse of the crypt, and the Trail of Terror. I mean the curse of the crypt would fit in perfectly into a big metal box at Kings Island, its a box of FUN!
