Details for Kings Island and Cedar Point have been released:

I'm thinking I'm for sure going to do KI.

I think we're leaning towards KI now too. If GatorGirl isn't tall enough for DB by then, I guess she could wait in the station for that hour & 15 minutes. Although I swear every day I look at her she's getting taller. A few weeks ago she seemed just a little shorter than Mrs. DaveStroem... but GatorGirl was wearing her boots then.

Me and my dad are thinking about it can someone explain to me about it?

Well, you start of by paying the $25 registration fee, and then you have your fundraising page. The money you collect goes to Give Kids The World, which provides kids with life-threatening illnesses vacations with their families. You can ask your friends and family to help donate to your page. Once you have raised at least $75, you are able to go. The riding schudele is on the CFK website, but basically you can ride for the amount of time it lasts without getting off, and it's a lot of fun. We're also provided with lunch, a beast tour, and prizes for the top 3 fundraisers. It's a really fun event for a great cause.

I have held my tongue up until now...so here goes. Even though I am once again registered for this year's Coasting For Kids event, I did not join the KIC team. Why? The main reason is that we wouldn't even know about this event if we had to rely on the mods of this site. (The main site is still warning us that the 2012 season is about to end. )

I do not feel the need to promote a site that doesn't even care to help promote the cause itself.

It is Jonathan that I thank for taking the time to keep us all updated on this event. :)

(If the team were named Members Of KIC I probably would have joined! :P )

The Gator family has officially signed up with Team KIC!

Mrs. Gator and GatorGirl don't seem to have fundraising pages when I click on Team KIC. Is that a glitch, or did you forget something?

It's not a glitch. GatorGirl, being only 8 years old, doesn't have an email account of her own, so I was planning to use mine for both of us. But when I went to set up her page and entered my email address for her account, it logged me into my page and wouldn't let me set her up. I sent an email for help to First Giving but never received a response, so I just used an email account that Mrs. Gator has that we haven't checked regularly lately. GatorGirl's page is now up as of today, but Mrs. Gator needs to set hers up still.

I haven't told my mom or anyone in my family about it, but I'd really like to do this.

Time will tell....depends on if I set up a page or not. I don't even know if I can go to KI on June 9. If I do happen on going to KI then, it may most likely not be for Coasting For Kids. I don't like the idea of my mom, a non-enthusiast, standing around or walking around by herself all day long while I ride over and over (unless someone else goes to the park with me). I still have a lot to figure out at the moment.
