Boomerang gets a make over

Featured Replies

Oh, I thought we were talking about Boomerang Bay at GA or CW......

Great work on the ride color, that may be the first time for a repaint, it looks like a V-II of Face-Off, erm Invertigo of KI to me personally, a color swap.

If anyone else is confused, the ride is Boomerang at Knott's.

I wish we had palm trees around ours.

Couldn't find a similar thread. This is what I found when I went online today. Boomerang looks a hole lot better in my opinion.

I don't see any holes...am I missing something? ;)

It should be pointed out that the supports on the right are the painted ones. They are a darker green with light green track

I know that Invertigo is a somewhat shocking color when you first see it, but I like it. I think it sets it apart from the other boomerang's by those colors. I am proud of it!

The re-paint is pretty much complete. There are some more recent photos here.

I actually quite like it. I've always thought the highlighter yellow supports and dark purple track colour scheme (Wildcat, Boomerang) looked horrific.

Now all they need to do is repaint Xcelerator and the Boardwalk will be like new :)

I really like the new paint job. Reminds me of when Flying Ace was themed as Rugrat's Runaway Reptar. :)
