Processing Appointments

Featured Replies

I just got hired at Kings Island today, and I can't figure out how to schedule my next step which is my processing appointment.

Welcome to KICentral! This is a public forum not affiliated with Kings Island or Cedar Fair. If you want any kind of answer from someone representing the park, you need to contact the appropriate person/department instead of posting in this forum. (Probably HR in your case.)

With the notable exception of Don, employees that do post here are representing themselves, not the park. I'm sure Kings Island has specific guidelines about posting to public websites, which you should probably become aware of.

And, congratulations on your new job.

A park job can be an opportunity you will treasure forever.

Terp, who will forever be in debt to the greatest people pleasing industry in all the world.

Congrats on being hired by Kings Island and welcome. HR does everything online via the JobNet site that you completed the online application. Once you have clicked on the background check (if you are 18 or over), there is a processing link. Click on it and select your date. It will also have a link for your department's training and info on the orientation training for first time employees. If you have any questions, call or email your department or HR.

What area of the park have you been hired at? You will have a good time and meet really good people that you will call your friend. Again, WELCOME!

This topic actually helped me cause I had the same question. I'm on mobile right now but from I've read there's a video you must watch . What's the video about?

Drummer, who got hired in admission :D

Congrats on the job. I'm sure it's general info or welcome. But as a few have alaready said, it's your best bet to ask the Park.

Congrats on the job! Which ever job you got, I'm sure it will be fun because you'll be working at the Fun And Only!

Welcome Kwolf! Might I ask what job you have received?

You can apparently ask...but our original poster never posted again...

Nor did he even log in again. Last active (i.e. last page loaded) four minutes before this thread was posted.

Huh? Daylight saving time began on March 10 in 2013. So there is no difference in UTC offset between then and now.

Indeed. The forums back then didn't observe DST on the correct dates.

A post wouldn't show up four minutes after you logged out!

Ah. However, the "last active" time is, to my understanding, the last page loaded. Thus, it is possible to post something after your last active time, if you do not load any further pages after posting.

Not all actions update the "last active" time in IPB3, even if it results in a page load, so it's possible that he (or she) posted this thread as the final action ever taken while logged in. There have been various time zone bugs & fixes over the years, so that's possible as well.

Perhaps the poster was advised that this fan forum wasn't the right place to go for employment-related matters.

When a new thread is posted, perhaps, although I've seen multiple such cases of one-time posters whose last active times are like that, so I don't really know how the software works there. (EDIT: See malem's post.)

However, when a reply is added to an existing thread, it's definitely possible, as shown by this screenshot:
