Formula Rossa launches you at an insane speed yet the trims kill it after a few seconds. It's a total gimmick. The layout looks boring especially because of the trims.

I think it looks fun. Even if they launch you then slow you down you still went that fast.

Sure, it's still fun, but when you put the "fastest roller coaster in the world" sticker on it, I expect to be going fast. It can't be going anymore than 80mph after the initial launch.

An amusement park themed to Ferrari? I know where I'm going next year.

You get a exhillerating launch, decent drop, overbanks while cruising around 80, and airtime hills at the end. I love ka and ttd, but the only thing that makes it great is the launch. Unfortunately the spiral kills the drop. But those are still my two favorites. That may change when I ride formula rossa though.

Not trying to be a jerk about it, but what's a 500' rocket? There is no such classification as a rocket coaster when it comes to height. If you are talking about how it "rockets off" I'd have to say that it's a launch coaster.

Not trying to be a jerk about it, but what's a 500' rocket? There is no such classification as a rocket coaster when it comes to height. If you are talking about how it "rockets off" I'd have to say that it's a launch coaster.
