Delirium Movie

Did you know that that movie was shot by Iian Henry, a Canadian ACE member? That is right, he nearly worships the Mondial ride at PCW and made that video of it. PKI contacted Iian and asked if they could use it for promotional purposes. He agreed and the rest is history.

So, to any of you budding ride filmers out there... you never know who may be watching and what may come of it.

But dont' take this to mean that you should pester any park and ask them to use your videos. If they want it, they will seek you out.

Coasterfan, TR:TR line should not be affected to much by this. TR:TR line is short if you go on Monday or Wednesday. ::Drools.:: You have a great find on those movies. If that inride is accurate (which I am sure it is) that ride is going to rock. That is Delerium, it has the same color scheme and well it's the only Giant Frisbee. If your interested they have PCW's Sledge Hammer (Jump 2) on there also.

Just because Tomb Raider didn't work right all of the season doesn't mean Huss didn't put it up before shipping it to PKI. Did you know that even Top Thrill Dragster, the tallest and fastest rollercoaster in the world, was put up before it was shipped to Cedar Point. Ride manufacturers have to test their products before shipping them. Do you think they would just ship it out if they didn't know if it would work or not?

I'm not saying they just build it to see if it works. I'm saying that they build it first to make sure that there are no problems with it before shipping it out. Computers aren't perfect so you never know. They definitely have to test new concepts out because they have no experience with them before. They might miscalculate something and not know it. It is always safe to double check your work, and that is what they are doing.

Coaster companies rarely build a full scale model of the ride or build the ride and test it before it is sent out. Xcelerator was tested in Europe before being built in America, but they only built the launch and a brake run. Nothing more. There are photos on other sites that prove this, a simple search online will find them.

Flats are another question since they are much smaller and easier to install, hence the reason most are in fairs and are transportable. Only one way to find out. Wait until the chat with Jeff Siebert is rescheduled and ask him if he knows.
