LordSkippy
How many rides/attractions formerly located at Kings Island were relocated to another park and are still around today? I know that the Flying Eagles are now located at Carowinds, the Flying Dutchman found its way to Kentucky Kingdom, and the Wheel of Fortune resides at DelGrosso's, but are there any other former Kings Island attractions that are still rideable, albeit in a different location? TheCrypt
I was of the impression the monorail was used for special occasions on the property, but I've been wrong plenty of times before.
Guest Department47
All I can think of, with a bit of assistance from a Wikipedia article on defunct rides: Wheel of Fortune - Relocated to DelGrosso's Amusement Park King Cobra - Trains relocated to Kings Dominion for spare parts on similar coaster Screamin' Demon - Relocated to Camden Park, since demolished Zodiac - Relocated to Wonderland Sydney Bayern Kurve - Relocated to Wonderland Sydney Flying Dutchman - Relocated to Kentucky Kingdom Flying Eagles - Relocated to Carowinds Huck's Hot Rods - Relocated to Coney Island (???) Antique Cars - Cars relocated to another Cedar Fair park Monorail - Trains relocated to Jungle Jim's

If so, then it is a rideable attraction in a different location. Now I want to ride it.
LordSkippy
As a side question, what happened to Tumble Bug, and why was it removed? I would assume it was scrapped and was removed due to maintenance issues or to make room for Skylab.
The Interpreter
Tumble Bug was scrapped. Back then, far less was known about why things happened.

Antique Cars - Cars relocated to another Cedar Fair park Monorail - Trains relocated to Jungle Jim's Huck's Hot Rods is still there - it's called Peanuts Off-Road Rally now. It's just in a different location and has different vehicles than the Huck version did (when it was Huck-themed, it was closer to the helicopter ride and kiddy bumper cars. It was moved to its current location with the current vehicles during the renovation/expansion of that area in the 2005-2006 off-season).
shark6495
The monorail at Jungle Jim's isn't rideable from what I've seen, just decorative. There is a decorative monorail near the front of jungle jims. It sits on track not connected to the other track. Follow the other track around the building complex and you will find that it makes its way all the way to the housing unit for the trains. They use it for special occasions. kblanken
Cool, thanks! I'll keep an eye on when they might have an event. -kblanken, a trains within grocery store enthusiast. I've been in some Wegman's with model trains set up above some aisles in their stores, and now get disappointed with every other store that doesn't have one.
Sonofbeast2.0
Not an attraction but old water tower in AZ also bought by Jungle Jim's. @ TheCrypt‚ (on mobile easier to do this way) i've heard of it getting used for rare occasions too. Usually a big sampling or something

Dieseltech20
Bayern Curve was demolished in 2002 and Zodiac was disassembled in 2005 after Sydney's Wonderland closed. It was loaded into containers never to be seen again. http://www.wonderlandhistory.net/content/zodiac_removal

I've driven by so many times. Does it literally run from the station to the front entrance and back? Thats about as far as the track goes if I remember right.
