Kat
Probably most inverted roller coasters have a lift hill! Ha ha I was just noting the layout and apparent size and angle of said lift hills in addition to the near identical color of the track and supports (more the supports than the track) I don't care if it was a copy cat though it's still new to us and will be an awesome ride. And only the second full invert I will have ever been on unless I am unable to ride Raptor Friday or Saturday
Kat
It's considerably different compared to when you compare other B&M inverts to each other. Well that's good to hear!
sheikra_rocks
I have ridden Patriot, and it looks nothing like Banshee. Patriot is a very smooth ride, but it does not pack a punch. Montu on the other hand? Humina humina humina!
thedevariouseffect
And we all have not ridden a B&M Invert with these trains before..I'm sure this will be a brand new experience, and almost like riding an invert for the first time again
fryoj
Looks like they are building the tallest lift hill support!

Adventuro
There is some strange yellow thing towards the middle of the lift, I don't think I've seen it before and I'm not sure what it is Edit: nevermind it's part of a crane
Adventuro
They are currently lifting the next piece of lift hill track up
HTCO
Track is in place. Plot twist: It just misses the existing support by a couple feet EDIT:
upstop
I'm shocked that they are going to build the loop around the constructed part of the lift hill, instead of building the loop first. Hope there are no windy days ahead.
HTCO
And now it looks like a crane is positioned at the bottom of the first drop to possibly place a piece of track in?
NoChickens
Seems logical enough to me, put the top of the loop on like a cap. I think it would be harder to thread the track though the loop if it was in place first. Needless to say I've not built one in the real world.
thoe124
That's probably what they'll do.
fryoj
And now it looks like a crane is positioned at the bottom of the first drop to possibly place a piece of track in? I think that yellow crane is just a taller crane that the one that has been on site since the beginning. The original crane is going to be too short to do any more of the lift. So that yellow one will be there long enough to help Clifford finish the lift out then it'll be gone. Where its sitting now should be where it does the pick for the lower part of the next piece of lift hill track.

I kind of thought they would create the lower part of the loop first then finish the lift, then cap it off....I guess it really all depended on where the end of the lift hill track piece ended....plus all of the loop supports would have been in the way too.

PyroKinesis
That is one steep lift hill for a B&M coaster.
RailRider
Regarding the loop and lift hill issue. The loop will more than likely be 6-8 sections of track. So you are dealing with much smaller pieces when lifting compared to the huge pieces of lift track.
Adventuro
Right now they're lifting up another piece of lift hill track, I'm not sure how they can already put that up though, unless they're just moving it.
fryoj
Looks like they are picking up the last straight pies of the lift hill. We should have a pretty close look at how tall this thing is going to be today.
CoasterMyths79
Does anyon know if anyone owns a Son of Beast plaque and if they would be willing to sell it? You know, the ones that they sold in October last year.

Diamondbacker
It's going quickly! I think that's the last piece for the lift hill, then it starts down the hill!
RailRider
Well there will be at least one more support lifted today because I am sure they will not leave that load on a crane for long. Looking very very tall right now
Ki Man
What's the yellow spot behind the bathrooms? It's the Banshee Creature you're so crazy about.
fryoj
Well there will be at least one more support lifted today because I am sure they will not leave that load on a crane for long. Looking very very tall right now This piece doesn't tie into the next support. They would have to build the last support tower and install the top piece of lift track to tie it into the support. Not to say they won't do all that today. They do work late into the evening and they aren't going to want to keep that yellow crane on site longer than needed. But that would be a lot of work to complete before dark.
Adventuro
If you look at the animations, there is another piece of track that curves, but still goes a bit higher, that would be what connects it to the ginal support.
