With all of the other parks already having made their announcements, and considering we are talking about PKI, Im thinking PKI is gonna get something major besides just a waterpark remodel. It could be a new coaster, another giant huss, or even something major for the waterpark (as in, something new or record breaking...)

Just my thoughts...

i just noticed in the new announcement on pki.com that it says "The news is out that we are getting ready to announce one of our exciting 2004 additions to PKI. " notice it said ONE of meaning there could be more than one. this pleases me biggrin.gif

It wont be a coaster, or a flat. More water slides

Hey don't forget about our neighbors to the north, Paramount's Canada's Wonderland! They are getting a Flying coaster built by Zamprella, It will be the second of it's kind. I have to give it up for PCW, every year they get a new ride, Nothing Huge but allways Innovative. ph34r.gif

Huss left certain things in the park between TR:TR and Delirium giving a hint that they would return for the next year to build something else. Now that Delirium is finished being built, all those things are gone. Just in my opinion... if they knew they were going to build another new ride they would leave those same things in the park for the following year's construction.

If you really think that then you'll be suprised next year. I'm not talking about the waterpark either.

What exactly do you mean by that?

I don't think that Huss would leave stuff in a park, if they though they were going to build another ride. Maybe that stuff was left there for another reason, which is the fact that A.) They were installing one new ride at PKI (Delirium) and perhaps they would have to come back at some point and troubleshoot the ride, if there were problems. Its easier to leave the stuff at one place, then go lugging it aorund everywhere with you, and B.) the fact that TR was acting up a lot late last season and early this one, they might have needed some of the same stuff, to work on both rides.

And next

The company is actually named Zamperla and their website is http://www.zamperlarides.com The flying coaster is called a volare, but its stats are not that impressive, and with a top speed of 25 MPH, I don't think that PKI would be interested in buying one of these.

I wont. I seriously think that they are doing best for them because families love the water park. Because it's a family park not like CP *evil eye* all they do is try to break records. I guess I want them to turn into CP but then I think about my brother and we wouldnt be going if he couldn't ride the rides. (He's autistic wich is a like mental problem) So I guess PKI's doing the right thing. But me being greedy want another ride but hey its good to not get what you want some times.

I rode the Flying Coaster at SFEG and I can tell you this...PCW is getting screwed! The thing has incredibly low capcity (only four to a car) and the ride is extremely boring. Plus the "seats" are really uncomfortable. I think Scooby's Ghoaster Coaster provides more thrills than this thing.

I really hope PKI never gets a flying coaster. I've ridden S:UF and except for the first time you're put into the flying position, there isn't much to it. And you soon realize you riding a mediocre invertered coaster.

I hope they put in a Huss Giant Delirium in the water area. That would be really cool. I think PKI will always get the best choice of rides of all the Paramount parks. And you will never see them get 3rd rate rides (like PCW) or recycled rides (like PC).

Thats just one single manufacturer. Things could be better if we got a B&M flying coaster. I am hoping for one of those myself.
