Well if I'm not mistaken we are getting a brand new, B&M invert by the name of Banshee over in Action Zone that is being discussed in multiple places on these forums. As well as the retheming of Flight Deck to The Bat.

It looks like there will be a new entrance for Adventure Express also, based off dirt covering the current path. This is visible on the Banshee cam but we won't know what's up for sure for a while.

So glad to hear this. I think the line for Adventure Express is as important as the ride itself. Some of my other favorite queues: Congo (don't laugh, this has tons of attention to detail), Viking Fury, (of course) The Beast, and WWC. I've always enjoyed the walk back to Top Gun, then Flight Deck, and can't wait to walk to The Bat!

nope but it would be nice if they made it not smell so bad walking around that area...

The park has made no announcement concerning any renovation of the Royal Fountain at Kings Island for 2014.

I'm looking forward to seeing if KI will do something with the old Crypt building or SOB station. In my opinion, it seems strange to have such a massive structure with no purpose just sitting in Rivertown all season. As for SOB's old station, it looks really dumpy and kind of creepy (which is cool for haunt) but during the regular season, it makes KI look kind of bad.

I could see the old Crypt building being developed into a great dark ride of sorts (see CF CEO comments in other places about development of such rides- most outside this forum). Unfortunately, custom builds like that take a few years planning, designing and building. My guess (and certainly an unqualified opinion)- it would be '15 at the earliest before anything worthwhile could go in there.

I have to agree through about SOB's station just sitting there 11 months out of the year as a relic of a past regime.

As long as its easier to walk on, i know some of the paths had really uneven spots that would make me stumble if i was not paying attention.

First glance: "Ohhh, pavement! That is the best part of the park, pavement!"

They were paving it looked like fresh concrete and they were fixing up the parking lot, lots of cones near the entrance I'm assuming it is to keep people off of it so everything can cure

They should make pavers but fancy different color than brown pavers because after all it is the signature part of KI.

12.00 parking per car all year, every year....should have been paved a long time ago. We payed for that a long time ago.

^They might have been using that profit for other projects, such as Banshee. Would you rather have a better parking lot or Banshee?

Im not saying I wouldnt want Banshee at all. I would walk on gravel barefooted to ride Banshee. Its just that we pay for parking, why isnt it paved. Im not trying to be difficult, just curious. I'm payng a fee not a tax and know I can't truly expect anything.
