Voicetek Posted January 14, 2014 Posted January 14, 2014 Not long after the server change, I stopped receiving updates in my e-mail. This has started in the past 2-3 days or so. Usually, when there is a new post on a topic I'm following, I get an e-mail. If someone likes one of my posts, I get an e-mail. You know how it goes. Well, that has all stopped. I went into my settings yesterday and everything is correct. I made sure everything was checked and I re-saved everything. That hasn't fixed the issue. Has anyone else had any of the same problems? What are your suggestions on how to fix this? Thanks! 1 Quote
IndyGuy4KI Posted January 14, 2014 Posted January 14, 2014 Paging Dane on this one. I would suggest sending him a PM! Quote
Dane Posted January 14, 2014 Posted January 14, 2014 Thanks for letting me know. Investigating as we speak. 2 Quote
Dane Posted January 15, 2014 Posted January 15, 2014 Is anyone else experiencing this problem? Also, if you are set up for notification emails, are you getting them? Sent from my SCH-I535 using Tapatalk Quote
malem Posted January 15, 2014 Posted January 15, 2014 ^ I haven't received any notification e-mails since the server changed. Quote
jcgoble3 Posted January 15, 2014 Posted January 15, 2014 I received an email about a PM just fine on the 12th. However, I don't have any watched thread/forum emails enabled, so I can't speak as to whether those are working or not. Quote
Dane Posted January 15, 2014 Posted January 15, 2014 For those reporting you are not getting emails, try going into your settings and re saving notifications and also double check your email and spam folder. So far, I'm 14 for 14 people I have personally polled are not having any issues getting emails. Also people are having no problems validating their email address for new accounts. Quote
Voicetek Posted January 15, 2014 Author Posted January 15, 2014 I went into my settings and unchecked everything and re-saved, then I went back and checked everything that I wanted notifications for and saved again. Still not getting any updates. I was kind of hoping that would reset everything, but no luck yet. Quote
malem Posted January 15, 2014 Posted January 15, 2014 It seems to be specific to certain e-mail provider(s). I'm getting notifications after changing my e-mail address from a Yahoo mailbox to a Gmail mailbox. A quick check doesn't show the server's IP on any major spam blocklist, so it might be only Yahoo. The bounce error messages should state why the messages are being rejected, assuming that's what is happening. Quote
