I was reading something yesterday i think it was about a forum that had something to do with the movie Italian Job, i was wondering if i was missing some vidal news or was it just idea. If it was, I think it would a great idea for a coaster, but could someonehelp me fil in this "gap"?

A while back Paramount gave out a Survey about Concepts for themed Rides in the survey were some great ideas for some themed rides Like The Addams Family Coaster and rides built around stuff like Star Trek,The Sum of all Fears,Mission Impossible,Titanic,Sleepy Hollow and the Italian Job.but Mainly ......

It was to see what concept was more Popular it was Between The Addams Family Coaster and The Italian Job Coaster for 2005 season at the paramount parks

If you would have seen the concept art, you would be saying

differently!

It was an awesome looking vertical drop coaster.

A Italian Job coaster would look just like FOF with the trains looking like cars. I would reather see Kings Island go all out on the addams family coaster with the concept art they used. Wounder if they would retheme FOF to the Italian Job? It would not take much money to do it and it would look like Rocken Roller Coaster in Walt Disney World. Just add some glowing art work along the track and you got a new ride.

Ahh...unless you want to have your Mini Cooper doing corkscrews and other inversions, don't count on Flight of Fear being re-themed. In my opinion, it has the best theming of any coaster in the park (Top Gun would have had this spot if the extended queue was still open).

King's Island has TONS of space "out back" for a coaster, why not use it?

Plus, I would most certainly miss phrases such as, "I feel like a hard drive that was just reformatted!" "WHAT THE BLAZES WAS THAT?!" "PLEEEEEZE....Dick!!" "How the sam hell do they know what kinda connectors we use?"

I'm with you, fryler87; I like the FoF Q vid. No, I'll go even further than that: I love that video! I like it when she pronounces his name sarcastically when the Boob tells her she can call him "Dick." She says "Dick" alright....enunciating the "iiiiiiiiiick" part! Love it!

The theming on this ride is superb, right up to the loading station where the 'empty train' pulls up to fetch the waiting patrons, leaving the impression that the former riders were mysteriously abducted!

Very clever theming....when it first opened up, it took me a few times through the Q to realize that the wall was a giant mirror and merely gave the illusion of a huge spacecraft.

You can almost smell testosterone throughout that ride, up to and including the uh, um, SHAPES of the objects in the loading area.

No Problem! it was a Cool Concept but Yogi is right Nothing is Final I guess paramount is Choosing what to put in there parks as we speak!but iam sure whatever PKI puts in will be a Great Coaster or Not iam sure it will be Great.

yeah i agree with you 100%. Also FoF had one of the best theming jobs ever i think on a coaster. The video, the UFO, and definitely the best part is the station, and the train coming in empty is so cool too, gotta love that.

FOF is a Great Coaster! I love how its Themed too!

I personally think that tomb raider has the best, but FOF is a very close second! The main dividers between the two: Tomb Raider's sliding doors (monkey room and the divider between the preshow and the actual ride) and tomb raiders screen coming up from the podium.

By the way, i never knew until about a year ago that those were mirrors in FOF! VERY CLEVER! first tiem I rode that I thought to ymself: "GOODNIGHT! THIS THING IS HUGE!" It took me four years and two friends to convince me that those were mirrors. I felt like an idiot once I found out.

lol well it took me like 2 minutes to figure out, but that's ok. I too really like Tomb Raiders theming as well, even though the ride broke down and we had to leave the line.

TR:TR has the best theming. Just the atmosphere of the ride/que line

Yeah, it echos a lot. When I was there me and my friends started a clap during a break-down period and it was so loud.

The entire effect of TR:TR is awesome. To bad the ride isn't a little

better. I wish it had a few more top spins!

TR:TR is a great Ride but i cant ride it do to health Problems I rode it once and I got Sick on it so I dont ride it anymore it was Too intense for me So i ride the Next BEST or BETTER thing The Beast!

When i first rode it I thought i would get sick from the ride but i didn't. i thoguht the same thing for deliurim to.

About TR:TR, I had heard there was going to be a new program this

year, but I was up there today (04/04/04) and when I rode TR:TR, it

was the exact same program as last year. Does anyone know if a

new program is in the works?
