Ride On_17 Posted April 4, 2014 Posted April 4, 2014 These rides just sound...crazy. This Jersey park has had its share of fatalities and injuries, unfortunately. http://www.themeparktourist.com/features/20140403/17278/16-craziest-attractions-most-dangerous-theme-park-all-time Definitely not quite such a Great Advencha. I'll stick with El Toro. 15 Quote

LongLiveTheSmurfRide Posted April 4, 2014 Posted April 4, 2014 Class Action Park. Love that name. 2 Quote
RailRider Posted April 4, 2014 Posted April 4, 2014 Ahhh the good ole Cannonball Loop at Traction Park. This place still amazes me to this day. 2 Quote
Existential Posted April 4, 2014 Posted April 4, 2014 Love reading 80s stories from that place. Sounds like fond memories of a crazy park. Quote
stinky Posted April 4, 2014 Posted April 4, 2014 I'll try to find way to upload audio of my father-in-law telling stories about Americana/ LeSourdesville. One, of a seeing a carousel worker's arm getting torn off; the other of a high diver being struck by lightning. If I can't, I'll try to do a transcript. 1 Quote
upstop Posted April 4, 2014 Posted April 4, 2014 Wowwy....I'm guessing that the carousel worker might have been reaching under the moving platform. (I've seen this happen at our local carnival). Also I'm sure the high-diver gave an electrifying performance. 2 Quote
Oldiesmann Posted April 4, 2014 Posted April 4, 2014 I wonder if they'll actually be able to make any money under the original name with that kind of a reputation. They might attract tourists who are unaware of its problems, but I certainly wouldn't want to visit that place when it's in the hands of someone who was partially responsible for its troubled past.
