Always? But what if you were coming from Vortex, WindSeeker, or Backlot Stunt Coaster?

^That's not where the cookie man is.

So is it always in general, or is instead always from the gingerbread man spot specifically?

It depends on if I'm getting Blueberry Ice Cream or Larosa's Pizza that day...LOL

Blue, obviously. According to Google Earth, it's 400 feet, or almost 30%, shorter than the red path.

How did you get the number 400 feet from Google Earth?

Great answer upstop, I was thinking the same thing. But I was going to say Blue so I could stop for Blue Ice cream on the way.

I measured each path using the ruler tool, then subtracted the length of the blue path (~1,040 ft) from the length of the red path (~1,440 feet).

I would take the Red path. It gives you the opportunity to see Diamondbacks splashdown on your way back (great for those who are taking people to the park for the first time plus it's one of the coolest sights in the park!) plus allows for a quick trip over to The Beast.

Its a Lovely day for a stroll around the park.
