Banshee Back VII
I can't decide which ride is better and I wanted to see what you guys thought about it!
Jr for Birdy
That's like asking me which one of my children I love the most, I love them all equal. O.k, not quite the same thing but I like all three rides for what they are.
The Interpreter
And it really doesn't matter what others think. It's all up to each rider to form his or her own opinions. As opinions, each is as legitimate as the next. Some may have more experience than others. Some may even be quirky.
Fire-Beast-OF FEAR
Easy Banshee. I never really liked D-Back and The Beast is a little over trimmed. I'm on the band wagon early.

The Interpreter
More popular? The new one. The true test is a decade from now.
Banshee Back VII
More popular? The new one. The true test is a decade from now. Not by length of line. Let me rephrase this: I just wanted to see which ride was a better ride according to other coaster enthusiasts
The Interpreter
Not everyone here is a coaster enthusiast. Several members here seldom ride coasters. Length of line doesn't mean ridership or even popularity. And what does "better" mean? Terp, who likes to ask questions
jdawg1998
Ok, ok...I think Banshee is the best of the three. 1. Banshee 2. Diamondback 3. The Beast (out of these three, not my favorite out of all coasters)

Terp, who likes to ask questions Here is pretty much what I mean by better: If you could only ride one ride for the rest of your life, and get unlimited rides on it, which ride would you choose? I hope this helps to answer your question.
themuska11
These are 3 total different rides... all offer a unique experience.
KI FANATIC 37
1. Diamondback 2.Banshee 3. Beast Even though Diamondback and Banshee are very close, there is just something about Diamondback that I love. Don't get me wrong, I love Banshee!

Don't over complicate it. lol
The Interpreter
The problem was what was the question? Let me write a poll question and I can shape the results to fit your needs. Gravy? Who mentioned ACE? Terp, just sayin'

Who mentioned ACE? Terp, just sayin' I must have misled you. By coaster enthusiasts, I didn't mean ACE, I just meant meant anyone else who has ridden the coasters. Sorry for the misunderstanding. milesharrison
Stick around a little longer...you'll realize there's often a reason Terp says what he does. Sometimes, it's a...diversion. Sometimes, it's not.
Tr0y
B&M inverts / hypers are a dime a dozen, The Beast on the other hand is one of a kind.
JTW
I've been riding The Beast for most of my lifetime. Diamondback is now five years old and I've taken plenty of laps. I've never had an inverted coaster that rocks as hard as Banshee in my home park so that wins for now. Ask me again in 3-5 years.
jla
Not many parks have a 1-2-3 punch this good.. Only a handful do.
JTW
I remember seeing a souvenir cup from the late 80s where the top four depicted were The Beast, Vortex, King Cobra, and Racer.
Banshee Back VII
I remember seeing a souvenir cup from the late 80s where the top four depicted were The Beast, Vortex, King Cobra, and Racer. KI's best four rides now can go toe-to-toe with almost every other park's, only ones it isn't comparable to are SFMM and maybe CP. Kings Island: Banshee, Diamondback, The Beast, Firehawk Cedar Point: Millennium Force, Maverick, Gatekeeper, Top Thrill Dragster Magic Mountain: Tatsu, X², Goliath, Superman: Escape from Krypton
jdawg1998
Replace Firehawk with Flight of Fear, then you've got it right... I love Flight of Fear. A very underrated ride.

I have to agree. Flight of Fear is 4th best. I was just talking about with most people, Firehawk is their 4th best at KI.

IBEW_Sparky
My perrsonal opinion and vote is that Banshee is the better overall coaster, in doing what it is intended to do, and is definitely the best during the day. The Beast, is best at night because it does what its intended to do in spectacular fashion at night, especially as well as its running this year. Both, absolutely annihilate Diamondslack in every single fashion. I have not been a fan of that ride since its opening year.
