BoddaH1994 Posted May 18, 2014 Posted May 18, 2014 Probably not going to happen. Cedar Fair doesn't think that a technological investment like that would not be beneficial to the company. But hey, if you listened to Cedar Fair's 1st Quarter Earnings Conference Call, you'd know that. Since it's a company that you care about it might be a good way to learn about the business side of things. Just remember - It's not all roller coasters and cotton candy. Vortex Posted May 18, 2014 Posted May 18, 2014 Might be a good idea for Cedar Fair to get Magic Bands. Just got back from using them and they worked really well. Some day I could see them replacing a season pass. Quote
The Interpreter Posted May 18, 2014 Posted May 18, 2014 And what exactly was the cost at Disney? There's a good reason for most all Cedar Fair decisions. Nowadays. No recommendations that unitholders sell out their interests for less than a third of what they are worth so as senior management could raid the treasury. Just to remember. Viva la difference. http://www.KICentral.com/forums/index.php/topic/23087-q-fun-special-meetings-the-fun-continues/ 2 Quote

At the cost of maybe closing down or selling off a handful of parks they might deem not profitable enough alongside the big moneymakers like a Point or an Island or even a Wonderland, or to offset the cost of acquiring the Six Flags brand as well and further liquidating assets to a more manageable status. 3 Quote
The Interpreter Posted May 19, 2014 Posted May 19, 2014 Meanwhile, Mr. Richard Kinzel and his family would be far, far wealthier than they already are. 1 Quote
thedevariouseffect Posted May 19, 2014 Posted May 19, 2014 His laundry fee is more than some families incomes. And I have to dry clean/starch/press a set of uniforms weekly.. Sigh 1 Quote
